"Hey, mom? You think Nico can crash over tonight? He kinda fell asleep and I don't know where he lives and he would have to drive back..." Percy told his mother through the call. He was secretly hoping she would agree but one could never know.
There was a short pause.
"Yes, he can stay. But I'll have to call his mom to make sure she doesn't worry."
"Great! Uh, I mean great. We'll be home in a few I think."
After a few more exchanged words, Percy hung up and set his phone down with a sigh, looking at the lighted streets.
