C A M I L L E

I stare at the footages of the six cameras S.H.I.E.L.D has installed in each of their homes- which by the looks of it, they were unaware of. Still, I was overwhelmed with confusion. What the hell did the snap do this time? Other than bringing them back, of course.

Reaching for the phone that I assumed was mine, I check my contacts. My contact list was empty, apart from only one number; S.H.I.E.L.D.

My fingers found their way across the keyboard again and soon, I've obtained a number from the system.

I dialled it in to the phone before pushing the green call button. It rang a couple of times and I watched as Nat sprung up from her bed to get her phone.

"Who is this?" She finally answered.

Although I've seen her on the feed, hearing her voice was a relief in itself.

"Nat, thank god." I let out a sigh.

There's a long pause and I watched as Nat's brows drew closer together through the screen.

"Camille?" She asks.

"Yeah, it's me." I replied, "I know everything's kind of crazy right now and I'll explain later. For now, I need you to get the team and meet me at Steve's. I'll send you the location."

I hang up, before forwarding the locations of the other five members to her.

Slipping out of my sleepwear, I quickly changing into some normal close. Then, I proceed to search for my weapons, just in case.

I've rummage through every drawer, but couldn't my bow and arrows or my blades. The only thing I've managed to find was a fake ID with my face on it and the name 'Stephanie Henderson' as well as a couple of guns that would have to do for now.

Making sure I've sufficiently armed myself, I head for the door.

I only manage to make it to out of the building before I'm met with another problem.

"Agent Romanoff." An unfamiliar voice calls.

I stop in my tracks, turning to face the source of the voice.

Behind me stood a man, dressed to the nines in a suit and scarf, finished with a fedora.

"You've caused us quite a lot of trouble." He says.

I furrow my brows at the man, "Am I supposed to know who you are?"

The man lets out a chuckle, taking a step closer to me.

"You've always had a sense of humour, Romanoff." His smile fades, "Do you know how much trouble you've gotten me into for that stunt you pulled the last time?"

"No. As a matter of fact, I don't." I admitted, but as I suspected, he didn't seem to believe me.

"We've been ordered not to kill you, but to use force if necessary. So, come quietly, Agent. None of us take pleasure in hurting you." He states.
