My heart races as I try to figure out how to move a man twice my size onto the jet.

"Thor, keep your eyes open for me, alright?" I say.

He grunts in pain and it's clear he's slowly starting to lose consciousness.

I take deep breaths, trying to stay calm as I thought of a way to save my friend's life.

His breathing was becoming shallower by the minute and his eyes were starting to fall shut.

"Thor?" I call, gently tapping his cheek and hoping for some kind of response, "Thor, please answer me."

I feel a knot form in my stomach as I stare down at Thor, who laid motionlessly before me, tears welling up in my eyes.

"No..." I mutter, "Thor, wake up!"

Just then, a huge beam of iridescent lights shoots down from above.

In the next seconds that followed, I find myself shooting up through the air, surrounded by bright, multi-coloured lights as I held on tightly to Thor, who was still unconscious with no clue where this beam was taking us.

Everything that follows was a blur. Soon, we're both being spat out of the other end of the tunnel of light and I am thrown onto solid ground.

In the midst of the impact, I lose my grip on Thor. Frantically, my eyes scan the place for him.

"Thor!" I yelled, pushing myself onto my feet and rushing towards him.

"Stay where you are, Midgardian."

I'm quickly stopped by blades being pointed at me.

I look up to see a female warrior standing in front of me, behind her were three others, all fully armoured.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out who these four were. According to the stories Thor had told me, standing right before me, were Lady Sif and the Warriors Three.

That was when it sinks in for the first time; I must be on Asgard.

I raise my hand in surrender, "Look, I don't know how things work here, but you need to help him!" I plead, pointing to Thor, "He's your friend, isn't he? He's going to bleed out if someone here doesn't do something!"

Sif turns to the Warriors Three, giving them a firm nod, "Take him to the infirmary."

The three do as they were told, helping a barely breathing Thor for some much needed medical assistant.

"What did you do to him?" Lady Sif demands, pressing the tip of her sword to my neck.

The area burns and I could bleed starting to trickle down my neck.

I swallow, "It all happened so fast. I don't really even know what happened."

"She's telling the truth, Lady Sif." A man speaks.

I notice him for the first time, standing in the corner of the room, holding a large sword. His golden eyes were trained on me as if trying to read me.
