Hideyo ended up staying at my house that night while Shinso drove home. As much as I tried to convince him to have a sleepover with us he didn't seem to want to stay. I guess listening to someone throw up all night wasn't very ideal so I can't hold a grudge.

As Hideyo laid beside me, passed out on the couch, I couldn't help but wonder why on earth Tony was talking to me, about Reo nonetheless. We'd never been the best of friends but it's not like we hated each other. I could carry an enjoyable enough conversation with him but he seemed a bit too prideful in my opinion. He didn't take advice from anyone even if it was helpful. He just thought he was too good for it.

Hideyo seemed take that as confidence instead of arrogance, I think his pretty face helped a little bit. I'd agree, Tony wasn't ugly, just a little thin for my taste. I'd like to date a guy who had a bit more meat to their bones, or any meat for that matter. In Tony's case he was all bones with a thin layer of skin, that's it, no muscle.

Reo always had a bit of muscle mass even if he didn't play any sports. It seemed like carrying coolers full of beers keeps you in shape.

Shinso wasn't scrawny either, if anything he was quite toned. He seemed to enjoy wearing muscle shirts just for that reason. I couldn't blame him, if I had arms like that I'd want to show them off.

I kept looking at Hideyo's form, splayed across my couch with her head hanging off into the garbage can.

I sighed, it had been about three hours since I'd been dropped off and still hadn't been able to sleep. Instead I was binge watching random shows on Netflix. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my many contacts, but not for long. Shinso was near the top so he wasn't hard to find.

You still up?

I sent the text and it wasn't long before three bubbles appeared.

I am now.

I couldn't help but feel guilty at his reply and I found myself typing an apology.

Sorry, but as long as your up we should FaceTime.

I watched for a moment and the three dots appeared but he didn't send anything. Instead my phone buzzed in my hands as an incoming call came in from Shinso.

"I didn't think you'd actually call me," I giggled a little at his messy bed hair.

"I don't sleep anyway so I might as well do something worth while," he shrugged a little groggily.

"But I am sorry about waking you up," I apologized again and he just shook his head.

"I wasn't actually asleep, I just wanted to make you feel bad."

I pouted a little, "What did I ever do to you?"

"You want a list? Because I have one," Shinso replied and I held in a laugh, his sass humoring me, "You dragged me to a party, you bullied me about my pineapple pizza, you couldn't roller blade for shit-...."

"How is that last one anything bad?" I asked, letting a confused chuckle at his antics.

"You kept falling on me," he responded blandly, "I thought that would've been clear but I guess you're dumber than I thought."

"Okay, and you call me the bully?" I questioned exasperated.

He glared at me through the phone, "You have your moments," he assured. "Why did you even want to go to the party, anyway? It's not like we did anything."

He wasn't wrong and I can't say I wasn't disappointed that it happened that way. "Because you wouldn't let me do anything."

"Sorry for being concerned about your health," Shinso scoffed and I was about to playfully roll my eyes before I realized what he said.

"See, I knew you cared about me," I smiled cheekily and Shinso scoffed again.

"Teenagers shouldn't be drinking, I'd worry about anyone," he muttered with a mock irritated look on his face.

This time I actually did roll my eyes, "I find that hard to believe."

"I'm a very caring person, just ask anyone," Shinso tried to argue but I could hear the unintentional sarcasm.

I laughed a little, "What if I asked the guy you were calling stupid the other day?"

"Like I said, he's a dumbass, he probably does think I'm softy," Shinso chuckled too, at the sound I realized how little he actually laughed. Probably not a coincidence that the reason he's laughing is because he's calling someone stupid.

"So if that dumbass was drinking at a party would you come pick him up?" I asked, trying to sound curious but probably only ended up coming across condescending.

"Funny you would ask," Shinso respond with a shit eating grin, "The night that I was at the party was because I was picking him up."

"Wow, and here I was thinking that you didn't have a heart," I replied with a undertone of awe.

Shinso just scoffed, "Well I may not have a heart but at least I have a brain."

"I'd rather be stupid and nice than a jackass genius."

"You sound like an inspirational speaker," he snickered, his voice cutting out for a second due to a connection issue.

I resisted the urge to cross my arms, mainly because I'd drop the phone if I did. "What's wrong with that?"

"I mean it sounded really cheesy," he decoded.

I just glared at him, "Who doesn't like a bit of cheese?"

"I think we should end the conversation there," He laughed with little humor but I knew he was enjoying our conversation. "Besides, talking with you made me bored enough to sleep, so thanks I guess."

I rolled my eyes, a small smile on my lips. "Fine, but don't go dreaming about me or I won't be able to sleep either."

"If I can promise anything, it would be that. It's already bad enough seeing you during the day why would I want to dream about you too?" Shinso insulted with another scoff.

I never got a chance to respond with my own insult since he hung up after saying a quick bye.

I rolled my eyes again, even if he couldn't see it. He is definitely going to be dreaming about me. But knowing him it would probably be more like a Nightmare on Elm Street sort of dream than a fairy tale one. I was alright with that though, it would make Halloween pretty interesting.

I was about to shut my phone off and finally get some rest when my phone buzzed again. Who would be texting me at two AM?

It was Keomi, she was the party so no wonder she was still up. But she usually doesn't text me so what did she want?

So I heard what happened between you and Tony, you're sure moving on pretty quick there aren't ya girly? Well I guess I can't blame you...

I started at the screen confused and quickly responded.

What do you mean?

I watched as the three dots appeared almost instantly and disappeared into a message almost as fast. Keomi really was a fast typer.

Don't play dumb, everyone knows you slept with Tony tonight. That's why you left early, right?

Another chapter is finally up! Why do I procrastinate so much on this book? I guess I'm just lazy.

Volleyball season is almost over so I'll be posting more frequently after that.

AND I'm making a Karma Akabane fanfic, I'm working on the plot and trying to finish the series so don't spoil anything quite yet.

I forot if I put this in the last chapter so I'm going to put it again I guess.
