Inspiration.....

I went looking one day.....

for some inspiration...

as they say....

it is the thing that you need....

when .....

wanting to go creative. ....

to banish some blues....

feel good and true...

so there I was....

donning my thinking cap....

being lost and found ...

on reality's map....

staring at the ground...

up the sky...one minute...

across the yonder meadows...

up the trees....puzzling ....

at the birds dancing crazy...

watching the cows...

grazing for free...

and mooing breezily...

and me...gawking wearily...

at the traffic...at some people. ...

they stared right back.....

made one feel squirmy...;)

sitting there dumbstruck...

without an easel....

to paint my imagination's song...

trying to wheedle...

out of thin air....

inspired desperation...!

something was wrong....

I drew a blank.....

to be very frank....

so I hopped on a bus..

paid the fare..went home..

deciding to mind....

my own business ...

this is not for me...

dear goodness...inspiration...

what's that...?

a needle in the...

proverbial haystack... !! ;)
