"Boop." Ruel said, tapping my nose.
I giggled at the gesture.

"You're honestly so cute." he said.
"Stop it, you are the cutest." I smiled.

We were laying on our side on my bed, facing each other.

I used one arm to prop my head and Ruel reached out and grabbed my other hand.

"I'm gonna miss you." he said.
"Baby, I'm gonna miss you more."
"Not possible."

"Ruel, don't be upset. You're going on tour!" You're headlining it; you should be excited!"
"I am, but I'm going to miss home and my family, friends, and you."
"I know, but what? It's only three months, yeah? Once you come back, we'll be waiting for you."
"Promise?"
"Promise."

He smiled slightly.

"Cheer up, bub. You still have a week left."
"You're right," he smiled. "I don't really want to go out right now."
"Then that's fine. We can just stay hone tonight and hang out with your friends tomorrow."
"You'd hang out with my friends?"
"Anything for you, baby."

"But I thought you didn't like them?"
"It's not that I don't like them. They make bad decisions, you know that, and I don't want you getting in trouble because of them."
"Yeah, but they got my back and I can't just leave them."
"You can but you choose not too."

He let go of my hand and frowned.

"Ruel, I'm not trying to make you upset." I said, brushing the hair from his face.

He shrugged.

"Baby, don't be upset." I groaned.

"I'm not. I appreciate you looking out for me but I know when they're doing something bad."
"I know, I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Upsetting you."

"Don't be sorry." he said, intertwining our hands.
"I love you, you know that, right?"
"Of course I do. You know I love you more than too, right?"
I nodded, kissing his cheek.

"I'm gonna miss nights like this." he said.
I cuddled into his chest.

"Me too, baby, me too."
