During the worry of SMG4 and the others, Mario and Meggy walked around in the city holding hands.
Mario: You know, it's been great not having to deal with the others for a while.
Meggy: I'll agree with that, Mario. Some peace and quiet is nice every once in a while.
Mario nodded, when a familiar tune started to play. The plumber's head grew in size as he yelled.
Mario: OH MY GOD!!! IIICCCEEE CCCRRREEEAAAMMM!!!
Meggy laughed and followed Mario, as the ice cream truck parked near a shop.
Frankie: IT'S THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!!! HORI SHIATO!!!
A group of kids swarmed the truck, which blocked Mario and Meggy.
Mario: Darn it! There's too many kids! At this rate the ice cream is gonna be sold out!
Meggy: I have an idea...
Meggy held a waffle in her hand, as all of the kids turned around and gasped.
Frankie: WAFFLES?!
Meggy: GO GET IT!
Meggy threw the waffle onto the road, as the kids began to fight over it.
Mario: Haha! Nice one, Meggy!
The couple approached the ice cream truck.
Hobo Mario: Hello. You like popsicles?
Mario: Oh, god... Not this guy again.
Hobo Mario: I've got a whole freezer full of popsicles.
Meggy: ...Can we just have two ice creams, please?
Hobo Mario: Sure.
Hobo Mario made two ice creams and gave them to Mario and Meggy.
Mario: Thank you!
The couple forgot to pay, as Hobo Mario turned around and looked at them.
Hobo Mario: ...YOU BASTARDS!!!
Mario: Mmm! For a creepy old version of me, he makes some good ice cream!
Meggy: Hell yeah!
Mario got a text on his phone, as he took it out of his pocket and looked at the notifications.
SMG4: (Text) Yo, Mario! Where have you and Meggy been, dude? We've been worried sick! Anyways, want to come over to the castle and play a game of Super Smash Each Other In The Ass Bros?
Mario: Oooh, okay!
Meggy: Sounds like fun.
Mario replied back while licking his ice cream.
Mario: (Text) Sure. We'll be there in a few minutes.
Meggy: Hop on, Mario.
Meggy turned into her Squid form again, as Mario grabbed onto her and started to speed through the city.
Mario: Weeeeee! That makes me so happy!
Meggy: *Giggle* Also, Mario? We'll have to act normally around our friends so they don't find out we're a couple.
Mario: Okie dokie.
(I'm on a roll with this. I'm actually surprised I remember how this story went. Guess I've got a good memory, after all.)
