"Bea where have you been? I've been calling you since last night!" sigaw ni Therese sa hinihingal na si Bea

"Sorry Trey. May inasikaso kasi akong importante kagabi. But I promise, I'll pass my part of the project tonight..."

"You better be. Malalagot talaga tayo kay Sir Cruz niyan..." Therese sat down and calmed herself

After a while, Bea opened her laptop and continued her unfinished draft

"What happened to you ba yesterday? I was so worried din naman because you're my friend..." Therese said with sincerity. Bea sighed but tell her anyways

"Nag away na naman kasi sila Mom and Dad kagabi. So I decided to escape my room na lang and go to McDonalds kahit late na. Ehh I can't throw naman my laptop pababa ng house kaya I haven't really done anything productive while I'm out..." Bea explained while her eyes are still on her laptop while Therese sighed

"Napapadalas away ng parents mo ahhh. Business matters?"

"I don't really know Trey. Parang everyday, paiba nang paiba pinag aawayan nila until I decided na 'wag na lang pakinggan..." Bea stopped typing for a while and stare blankly into space, but shrugged it off

Therese felt na ayaw na pag usapan ni Bea yung topic so she set it aside and continued to type na rin in her laptop. Trey's phone rang and she answered it

"Oh hi... Where?... Oh okay I'm coming... Can I bring Bea with me?... Okay see you..." then she dropped the call

"Who's that?" Bea asked

"Si Rex. Lunch daw at Mcdo. Sama ka na!" Trey enthusiastically said na halatang kinikilig

"Nah, I don't want to be a thirdwheel no! And I have to finish this pa..." Bea argued but Trey closed her laptop

"Maaga pa naman. Besides, kakain ka rin naman talaga ng lunch ehhh" Trey said but Bea didn't say anything

"and andun din ibang friends ni Rex so you won't be a thirdwheel. Sama ka na please..." pleaded

After some arguments of why she should go, pumayag din naman si Bea. They decided to use Trey's car na lang since they'll come back to Ateneo rin naman after they eat. Mabilis lang naman silang nakarating 'cause by some miracle, hindi traffic sa Katipunan and they easily found a parking space

"Rex, babe!" Therese said. Rex hurriedly stood up and kiss Trey on the forehead

"Ang PDA naman bro. Respeto sa tropa nating hanggang ngayon di pa sinasagot ng nililigawan niya..." a guy in a black shirt and blue baseball cap said that made them laugh

"Manahimik ka nga dyan bro. Baka di makapagpigil si Thirdy sa'yo mabato ka na nung ketchup na hawak niya..." sabi nung isang guy na nakablue shirt, in a pang asar way. Tumawa lang ulit sila at binato ng ketchup nung guy na nakatalikod sakin

Wait what? Thirdy?... Bea thought and remembered the guy he met last night and how he told him na they wouldn't meet again. She was about to ask Trey if she could occupy a separate table na lang nung naunahan siya and pinakilala siya ni Trey sa mga kasama ni Rex

"By the way guys, this is my friend, Beatriz. Bea that's Luigi, Paolo, Marck, and Thirdy..."

Thirdy turned around and saw a shy Bea that just let out a small wave to everyone. He smirked at her and she just narrowed her eyes that made Thirdy laugh

"Magkakilala na kayo?" Rex asked Thirdy

"Let's just say na, I saved her last night..." sabi ni Thirdy as he went back to his chair that garnered an ooohs from them and made Bea pissed

Kailangang ipagkalat? She said in her mind

In her perspective...

This guy! Akala ko pa naman mabait siya based on what happened last night. To be honest, kaya ko naman talaga sarili ko kagabi tapos biglang sumingit lang siya and then all of a sudden, he's the good guy na in front of them. Hays kung di lang din ako somewhat thankful for what he did yesterday ehhh, binato ko na 'to ng sapatos ko

"Bei kawawa naman yung chicken sa'yo, pinagbuntungan mo na ng galit..." bulong ni Trey sakin. I looked at my plate and saw na parang shredded na pala yung chicken na kinakain ko sa sobrang inis ko

"Eh pano this guy ehhh. Parang pinaparating na I can't handle myself and like he's some superhero..." I said but Therese just shook her head a little bit and smiled

"Can I just go? Di ko talaga trip maglunch today..." I said to her on a low volume

"Hindi trip maglunch, o hindi trip yung kasama?" I look at her with narrowed eyes kaya tumawa lang siya. Parang ewan din to minsan ehh

"Okay fine. Pero wala kang car diba? We went here together kaya..."

Shoot. Bakit ba kasi yung sasakyan ni Trey ginamit namin? Nako naman

"Uhmm, oh wait! I'll commute na lang..." I said. Sakto namang tumayo si Thirdy and mag cr yata. Nakakita na ako ng perfect opportunity to leave

"Okay fine. Basta ingat na lang. See you later sa class!" Trey said

Nagpaalam na ako sa kanila and binilisan ko magligpit ng gamit habang wala pa yung kumag at mayabang na lalaking yun...

Pagkalabas ko sa Mcdo, walang vacant na taxi. Super lucky ko naman talaga, ngayon pa nawalan ng sasakyan. Wow what a day!

It has been 10 minutes pero wala pa rin. I was patiently waiting for a vacant taxi nung may nagbubusina sa likod ko. I turned around to see who was it

"Wanna join me?" he said while moving his eyebrows up and down

Kailan niya kaya ako titigilan?
