Chapter 14

In her perspective...

After my class, I hurriedly sneaked in papunta sa car ko. Para akong praning na palingon lingon habang tumatakbo sa parking lot kasi mamaya sinusundan na naman ako nung mabait na tao

Luckily, nakarating ako sa car ko nang tahimik kaya nagdrive na ako papalabas ng campus. Napansin ko rin naman na wala na yung car ni Thirdy sa parking space niya kanina so I'm good to go (thankfully!)

I drove papuntang Blue Residences which is mabilis lang kasi sobrang lapit lang naman niya. I saw a kuya guard kaya sa kanya na ako nagtanong

"Good afternoon po Ma'am!"

"Good afternoon kuya. For Det de Leon po?"

"Ay Ma'am ikaw po ba si Bea?"

"Opo kuya"

"Sige po Ma'am dito po tayo. Alisin ko lang po yung harang..."

Ginuide naman ako ni kuya guard papunta sa parking space na prinovide nila Mom sa'kin. Pagkatapos ko mag park, binigay niya na rin yung keys ko. I thanked him after tapos bumalik na siya sa post niya. I got my things out of my car and headed straight to the elevator

I clicked the button to the topmost floor and waited. Buti na lang walang ibang sumakay kaya dire-diretso lang ako sa taas. Pagbukas ng elevator, I saw 2 doors na magkatapat. I looked at my keys and nakalagay na 3202. Nakita ko na yung nasa right side yung sa akin so opened the door to that unit, and napawow na lang ako

It is a penthouse type of unit pala. Glass walls siya kaya kitang kita yung view sa labas. Bubungad agad yung sala which may L-shaped couch and 2 bean bags tapos may glass table sa gitna. May stairs na papunta, which I assume, sa bedroom. I dropped all my things sa couch and tumakbo papunta doon

Pagbukas ko ng pinto, my jaw literally dropped. It was so pretty! There's a king-sized bed na color blue yung sheets (which is my favorite color) and may glass walls din siya so I can see the view from here din. Nakalagay yung guitar ko sa stand sa gilid. May 2 single couches din and may side table ako with my lamp na dinala na kanina ni Manong Fred. I also saw a built-in cabinet and a door papuntang bathroom. This is the life!

While I was fantasizing about my new home, my phone rang and I saw na it's my dad calling

"Hello Dad!"

"Hello princess.. Nasa unit ka na ba?"

"Grabe Dad. This is more than I could ask for! I was just expecting a normal-sized one but wow..."

I heard him chuckle on the other line because surprize was evident in my voice

"I'm so glad you liked it, anak... Your mom and I decided to go with that kasi isa lang ang neighbor and fully furnished na, also para malaki yung space mo for yourself and para makabawi rin kami sa'yo in a way dahil sa lapses namin..."

after Dad explained, I jumped in my bed before I answer him

"Thank you talaga Dad. You don't have to make bawi naman because I understand naman po, but thank you po talaga!"

"Anything for you anak..."

I paused for a moment and looked around

"Dad may I ask pala, yung glass window ba is one way?"

"Yes anak. No one can see you from the inside so no need to worry, and your unit is so high naman.."

"Yey thanks Dad! Tell mom na I'm here na and I said thanks.."
