Chapter 25

In her perspective…

It's been more than 11 months since I said yes to Thirdy, and it's been great! Sobrang nagjajive yung family namin, and so far wala naman kaming major away ni Thirdy bukod sa kung saan kakain during date night and nung time na kasama ko si Brix na manood ng gig (with other classmates of course)

Also, we haven't seen Julia since that day na inannounce namin in front of her and the barkada na kami na ni Thirdy. She dropped all of her subjects and never set foot to Ateneo. Never know where she went, so I think that's not my problem already

It's Monday today kaya sa Blue ulit ako magsestay. Nasa LGV ako every weekends and I'm so happy na Mom and Dad really fixed their marriage. Kuya Loel also came home last Christmas kaya him and Thirdy had the chance to get to know each other. Still laughing at that moment nung sobrang kabang kaba si Thirdy mameet si Kuya. Classic!

Papasok na ako sa entrance ng Blue. I greeted the guards as usual and parked at my spot. Bumaba na ako to get my bag and food stocks pero feeling ko may nakatingin sa'kin. I looked around and I saw a shadow behind a car. I walked to that direction and nakita ko lang na may taong nakahoodie na pumasok sa storage room beside the stairs. That's odd since di siya nakauniform

I shrugged it off and continue to get my things. I secured my car and headed straight to the entrance

"Ma'am Bea!"

Lumingon ako and I saw kuya Raul na kumakaway sa'kin

"Hello kuya! Kamusta po?"

"Ayy okay naman po ako Ma'am. Siya nga po pala, sinabi po ng staff sa akin na may notice raw po sila para sa inyo. Kunin niyo na lang po yung letter sa mail room…" sabi ni kuya sa'kin habang ngiting-ngiti

"Sige kuya I'll check it na lang po. Thanks for the heads up kuya! Ingat po kayo!"

"Wala po yun Ma'am! Ingat din po kayo!"

I waved at him na lang and nag detour ako papunta sa mail room. I grabbed my keys and hinanap yung susi sa mail box ko. I unlocked it and I saw three envelopes. Kinuha ko na lang lahat without checking them and umakyat na

While on my way up, iniisip ko na kung anong gift ibibigay ko kay Thirdy for our anniversary. Nung 11th monthsary kasi namin I already gave him the sneakers that he wanted. Meron pa naman akong three weeks to prepare so tsaka ko na iisipin yun. Aasikasuhin ko na lang muna yung requirements ko for graduation

I opened my door and immediately put my groceries on the minibar. I checked the time and hindi pa naman ako late so umupo na muna ako sa living room

I checked the mails that I got and yung isa bill ng postpaid ko. So I just set it aside. Yung isa naman yung notice ng admin so I read that. Nakalagay lang na they will be cleaning my windows from the outside so they need my consent lang and I immediately texted the number indicated sa letter na it's okay to do it next weekend

I was looking at the third letter but my phone is vibrating kaya I picked it up first.

Boo calling…

"Hello?"

"Hello boo! On the way ka na ba sa Ateneo?" Thirdy said enthusiastically

"It's so early pa kaya. Maybe I'll shower muna ulit before ako umalis…"

"Okay I'll wait for you. Anyways, lunch later?"

"Yeah lunch but with the barkada. Nagpromise ako kay Trey na sasabay ako later…"

"Akala ko pa naman masosolo kita…" narinig ko na nagtone down yung boses niya kaya natawa ako

"Hahahaha you wish. Sige na I'll shower na. See you!" he sighed

"Okay. I love you boo!"

"I love you too!"

I ended the call and got my things papunta sa room. Mamaya ko na lang ioopen yung isang letter. Mukhang kailangan ko pang bumawi kay Thirdy ehh

After I shower, I wore a spag strap tank top since it's so hot outside, black fitting jeans, and tied a denim jacket around my waist.  Okay na siguro 'to

I grabbed my keys and made my way to Ateneo na. While driving, I used the voice command feature on my phone to call Thirdy

"Hello?"

"Hello boo! Where are you?" I asked

"Nasa JSEC. Why?"

"I'm entering Ateneo's premises na. Wanna grab a bite?"

"Sorry I'm with Luigi right now. May pinaayos kasi na papers sa'kin yung thesis professor ko kaya I need to accomplish it asap…"

My smile turned into frown all of a sudden, but I tried to make my voice cheerful

"Oh okay. Ingat kayo ni Luigi…"

I quickly pressed the end button. Nagring yung phone ko pero hindi ko na pinansin. I turned left para makahanap na ng parking space. There's too much car today. Well, Monday nga pala

I found an available parking space sa dulo na ng south parking. Hassle. Good thing I know a shortcut around PIPAC papuntang Schmitt. I secured my car and grab my backpack na. Tatambay na lang muna ako kung saan may makitang tahimik na lugar

It's not that windy today so medyo tahimik sa paligid, especially since mapuno sa part na 'to. While walking, nakarinig ako ng parang nagroll na bato. So lumingon lingon ako. Wala namang tao so naglakad na lang ako ulit. I occasionally hear little footsteps behind me pero 'pag titingin naman ako, wala naman akong nakikitang tao or kahit cat or dog. Swear it's getting creepy na. I tried calling Thirdy thrice but he's not answering

I found myself walking twice the speed as I did before, pero I can still feel na may sumusunod sa'kin. Lumingon ako sa likod pero wala pa rin, pero nung humarap ako, I felt some mist as if it was coming from a spray bottle, and it smells odd

I ran as fast as I can, pero pakiramdam ko na nahihilo na ako. Kahit medyo blurry, nakita ko si Dani na papasok sa sa Schmitt

"Dani!"

Lumingon siya. Pero di ko na kaya yung amoy. Before I could even utter any other word, everything went black
