I looked at my bedside table and I saw na 4:30 am pa lang, kaya pala madilim pa ang paligid. I yawned and pagdilat ko, nakita ko na may nakaipit na paper sa lamp ko. Kinuha ko yung papel and kahit pumipikit-pikit pa ako, binasa ko na lang din

I enjoyed tonight's movie night! Thank you for letting me join you kahit na I pissed you off kanina. If you're available tomorrow, you can watch our basketball practice and then treat kita after para makabawi ako sa'yo. I'll wait for you there

What on Earth??

I opened my phone kasi I remembered na I should search for the meaning of 5 roses last night but I fell asleep. I searched 'number of roses meaning' on google and clicked this link in Flowers and Kisses' website. I scrolled down through the meanings and stopped at 5

"5 Roses: Express your care and love for that special someone. Gift 5 roses to express how much you care for your partner or a good friend.."

My heart jumped for a split second, kahit na of course I know na sa good friend side ako because we're not partners naman for Pete's sake. I read his letter and the roses' explanation on the internet. I put my hand on my chest and it felt weird

Binaba ko na sa table yung phone ko and yung letter. Pumikit ako ng mga ilang minuto and nag-internalize muna. Bea what's happening to you? I mentally slapped myself and wait for another few minutes

When I felt that I was way calmer, I sighed and slowly opened my eyes, and my jaw dropped because I just witnessed the most breathtaking view. The rays of the sun are slowly taking over the darkness, while seeing the silhouette of the cityscapes as well

Tumayo ako and pumunta sa tabi ng glass walls nung room ko, and the view just got better and clearer. Hays if waking up early means waking up to this view, then 'di na ako magrereklamo kahit araw-araw pa akong may 7:30 am classes

Nagring bigla yung phone ko kaya naistorbo ako sa pag admire sa napakagandang view dito sa condo ko. Tinignan ko kung sino yung tumatawag and nakita ko na si Maddie pala

"Hello bruha!"

"Makabruha naman 'to. Aga aga mo na ngang tatawag tas ako pa bruha... Oh bakit?"

"May practice tayo mamaya ahhh…"

Napatingin ako bigla sa date sa phone ko and Tuesday pala ngayon

"Hanggang anong oras ba? May quiz ako bukas sa World History 'di pa ako nagrereview…"

"Ayy nag inarte si ate gurl ehh sisiw lang naman sa'yo yun…"

"Hanggang anong oras ngaaaaa---"

"Oo na galit na galit naman 'to. The usual lang naman na 6pm to 8pm. Pero mas malapit location ngayon 'di na sa BGC. May nakita kasi si Manager sa may Cambridge kaya mas malapit na sa Ateneo and mas mura…"

"Haba ng sinabi oras lang naman tinanong ko…"
