In his perspective…

Kakatapos lang naming kumain ng dinner with my family dito sa bahay. It's a little early pa so I went out to our garden to breathe some fresh air. I sat on one of our benches and looked up.

I was so occupied that I haven't noticed na dumating pala si Manong and occupied the other end of the bench

"Ano ka ba Manong nakakagulat ka naman!" sabi ko. He just shrugged and medyo nagmove closer sa pwesto ko

"Dani told me what happened kanina…"

I looked at him and let out a timid smile

"To be honest kuya, I don't really know what happened…" I confessed

"Pagong talaga…" napailing siya and tumawa nang konti

"Manong naman ehh!"

"Oh bakit totoo naman..." sabi niya. I surrendered kasi medyo tama naman siya. Kasi kung hindi, ehh 'di sana alam ko yung mga nangyayari

"Please enlighten me Manong, kasi I don't want to mess this up…"

He sighed and nodded

"Sabi ni Dani, when you did your I quote "panghaharot" towards Bea, Julia was right behind them…" medyo nanliit yung mata ko and inalala ko lahat. I didn't notice naman because my eyes were so focused on Bea

"'Di ko napansin na andun siya Manong…" I honestly said. He nodded lang so it means thay he's convinced, tapos he continued na

"So dahil daw dun, Julia said something that made Dani furious. Nasagot siya ni Dani and because of that rage, she accidentally told Bea na you and Julia were classmates…"

I stopped swinging my legs and looked at Manong. He looks so disappointed right now

"Bakit 'di mo sinabi sa kanya kaagad na classmates kayo ni Julia?" napaisip ako bigla. Bakit nga ba? I closed my eyes and sighed

"Kasi I don't think it matters. What happened between me and Julia belongs in the past…"

Humarap si Manong sa'kin but I just remained in my position

"Rule number one Thirds, is that you have to be honest with her all the time. 'wag na 'wag kang gagawa ng bagay that will make her doubt na you have feelings for her…"

Manong is right. I have to be transparent with her. I love her and I don't want to lose her

"Do the right thing Thirds. Tell her everything. 'wag mong hintayin na sa ibang tao niya malalaman lahat ng bagay. Make her feel that you trust her. I believe in you bro…"

Tinapik niya yung braso ko and tumayo na para pumasok sa bahay

"Manong?"

Lumingon siya but he didn't say anything

"Pupuntahan ko si Bea. I'll make this right this time…"

Manong smiled and gave me a brotherly hug

"I'm so proud of you, bro! Please don't mess this up…" I smiled and tumakbo papasok sa living room to get my sling bag.

"Oh kuya where are you going?" tanong ni Mom when she saw me

"I'm going to Bea, Mom. Is it okay?" I asked

She smiled and pumunta sa'kin to fix my hair
