Aunt Becky and Ava came back from shopping and we were now sitting at the dinner table.
Listening to Avas forever long story about her day, I took my phone out of my pocket. I had one text message from Lucas.
Lucas: hey ;)
A winky face? Really? I texted back.
Maya: hello. Miss me already? ;)
"Maya?" I looked up to see aunt Becky looking at me.
"who are you texting?" She asked me.
"Her boyfriend." Ava whispered.
I kicked her under the table. "Just Riley."
"No texting at the dinner table please." Aunt Becky said, taking a bite out of her food.
"Sorry..." I mumbled, poking at my food.
-after dinner-
I ran up to my bedroom and put my phone on its charger.
Lucas and I have now had our first official text conversation.
Lucas: I might ;)
Maya: geez. Even through text your flirty.
Lucas: that's how I do ;)
Maya: ok stop with the wicky faces
Lucas: come on... I know u like it ;)
Maya: maybe a little...
I set my phone down. It's weird how just 10 hours ago we just started "dating" and we have already had a study date, a kiss on the cheek, and a text conversation.
This challenge sure was going to be interesting.
-the next morning-
I woke up to jumping on my bed. I didn't even have to open my eyes. "Ava..." I groaned.
"Get up get up!" She said and ran out the room yelling "I woke her up mom!"
I rubbed my eyes and looked down to see my clothes still on and my phone in my hand.
I must of fallen asleep while texting Lucas.
Sure enough, I turned my phone on to see miss texts from Lucas and missed FaceTime calls with Riley.
I forgot to FaceTime Riley. Oops.
I opened Lucas's texts.
Lucas: I knew it.
Lucas: where did you go??
Lucas: babeee
Lucas: did you fall asleep on me?
I kept reading over and over the third text. I smirked. I'm so gonna win this challenge.
Maya: sorry I fell asleep.
I texted another thing.
Maya: and babeeee? Hmmm ;)
I got up and changed into fresh clothes. I decided to take a shower tonight cause I take forever lasting showers.
I combed my tangly hair when my phone beeped.
Lucas: yes. Your my babe. ;)
Maya: oh really?
Lucas: yah. See u at school babe.
I sighed and set my phone down. I looked at my calander.
6 more days left.
Am I gonna make it?
