7 Years of Adrian and Lauren

Friendship

"Go Lauren! GO GO GO!" Gulat kayo noh. Ako yang sumisigaw. 4 months na kaming magkaibigan ni Lauren and because of her I learned how to become social and make friends.

I hate noise but if its Lauren, its okay. Ang daldal nya. But I'm comfortable with it.

Pero focus sa pag cheer! Lauren is currently competing against a 2nd year student for spelling. Hindi ko naman alam na magaling pala siya mag spell. The last time we had a spelling quiz, I only got 2 and she got perfect. Unfair world.

But I'm proud of her. I really believe that she could win. Pero grabe everytime she's wrong, the opponent is wrong and when she's right the opponent is also right. What a close fight. Tie din ang score and who gets the next correct answer will be the winner.

And after all those ties, Lauren lost. But it was a very good fight. She came to me and I hugged her. "Good job. Grabe 2nd year na yun but still kaya mo makipag sabayan" I said. Tumawa lang siya. "Tara kain tayo" hahaha ambaboy talaga.

Habang kumakain kami, immaturity runs in my brain and suddenly asked her "Lauren. Can you be my bestfriend?" That stopped her from eating. "Pilitin mo muna ako" she said. This damn girl.

Pinilit ko sya ng pinilit. Akala mo kung sinong maganda. Hahaha but I really want to be her bestfriend. Like parang nanliligaw din pala para maging bestfriend mo ang isang tao?

Then one day she said yes. "Dont feel bad. Im just testing you kung seryoso ka ba. Hindi kasi basta basta sakin ang bestfriend. Yung dating bestfriend ko, iniwan ako eh"

Adayy so that's why. "Don't worry, I wont leave you. Promise" she smiles.

Time flies so fast. We also made other friends. Sa barkada namin, there's me and Lauren, Ella and Kenneth.  We got really closed to each other.

Pero may nagkacrush kay Lauren hahaha akalain mo yun. They sent letters to each other. I just supported it but it didnt work. But because of that,Kenneth suddenly approached me. "Adrian. Usap tayo" I granted his request.

"Uy. Gusto ko si Lauren" Kenneth said. Wait wait wait. "Sigurado ka ba Ken?" Confirmation lang

"Yes. Kaya kita kinausap because I need your help on how I will confess to her. I mean you know her so well" sabagay. Close rin naman talaga sila. I really notice Ken na nagpapapansin kay Lauren.

"Okay then lets drag Ella into this" I said. So ayun para kaming tanga hahaha practice yun namin sa isang place and yung pinaka best idea na namin is mag spin the bottle. Nagtulungan pa kaming tatlo nyan hahaha.

And when the bottle turned to Ken, he said dare. So planado na syempre. So it was planned that I would ask him "Tell something na gustong gusto mo sabihin"

Ken said "I like Lauren" tumingin kaming lahat kay Lauren and she seems so puzzled. "Lauren, I like you" inulit pa ni Ken.

Lauren just looked at us and suddenly run away. We didnt expect that. Like akala namin gusto din ni Lauren si Ken kasi okay naman sya pag kasama nya si Ken.

I tried to follow her pero wala, hindi ko na sya naabutan.

Halos isang buwan sila hindi nag uusap. Until year end came and we all gathered. Its like an open forum.

"Lauren sorry. Im transferring to another school next school year. Sorry kasi ayun dahil sakin nagkaroon ng gap ang friendship natin" sabi ni Ken. Nagbati bati narin kaming lahat and the school year ended well.

Atleast nagbati din si Lauren and Kenneth. Makakaalis si Kenneth ng school na hindi mabigat ang pakiramdam.

I just feel really special because out of all the people in the room, Lauren trust me the most. I'll do everything para matreasure yung trust na yun. Lauren, my bestfriend.
