I have a heart that has been in pain
Ripped off my chest with no compassion
From the people that were kind but then turned heartless
A naive heart that was treated like a toy
A heart that witnessed the hardest things but still managed to make it through
I have a heart that has been cold but at the same time willing to love
I have a heart that for some reason still beats for the people who wrecked it for too long
A heart that still doesn't know how to say no
A heart that always cares for the wellbeing
Always thinking about the other
Until it was treated badly
Smashed with no hesitation
I don't blame anyone for it either
Crazy of how kind my heart still is
I'm the one putting too much and expect less
It doesn't even bother me to think that these heartless people still feel like it's common to do so
I let them in
I should've known what to expect
People like that don't deserve a piece of bread
But my heart is genuine
At times I even think it's way too kind
They don't deserve you,
