Blackmail

Class flew by really fast.

Noah and I talked about different things like we always, so it flew by kinda fast.

Next class was third period, and I had it with Jace.

Ugh.

I was still kinda mad at him but no hard feelings I guess.

I walked into third period and sat in my seat, which was beside Jace.

"Hey Rosy" he said giving a shy smile.

"Hey" I said, looking at him.

He made a face that kinda look like concern.

Maybe he's making it about my face.

"Are you feeling okay?" he said.

"Yeah, I guess" I said.

"Is your face hurting still from the hits?" he asked.

Wait.

What the heck.

How did he know.

I didn't tell ANYONE except my brothers and Everlei-

Wait.

Everleigh must've told him.

GREAT.

I knew I shouldn't have told anyone.

"How do you know" I asked.

His face got red.

"Oh I uh-" he said.

"It's whatever, I know Everleigh told you" I said interrupting him.

"Okay, but she only told me because she was trying look out for you. She was worried about it and she slipped and told me. She wanted me to kind of help you." He said.

"That makes no sense." I said, "But it's fine it doesn't matter, but just don't tell anyone." I said.

"I won't, I promise. I feel like I've don't enough anyways. I feel like it's my fault for everything that has happened. I was the one who left you and gave you that drink, I seriously didn't mean for anything like this to happen." He said, looking super guilty. "I just don't want you to be hurting because of me, I'm so sorry and I just-"

"Hush Jace" I said interrupting him.
"It's okay, it's not your fault, don't worry about it." I said.

I kinda felt bad now because he genuinely felt bad and he was actually sorry.

I didn't know he was this worried. I don't like that he's worried because of me.

"Really, it's okay, don't say it's your fault because it's not." I said.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm so sure" I said.

"Can I make it up to you in any way?" he asked.

"No, it's oka-"

"No I'm gonna make it up to you somehow"  he said.

"Okay, go for it then" I chuckled.

Then he laughed.

I felt a little better now to know that we were
okay again.

Soon enough, class ended and it was time for lunch.

I got what I normally had for lunch- fries and pizza.

I looked around and I didn't see Noah sitting with his friends and I wasn't going to go sit over there without Noah.

I then saw Cooper sitting down eating lunch with his group of friends and his annoying girlfriend.
