Ember's Pov

I walked alone down the aisle. The side that my guests were spouse to sit on was empty. Whispers emerged from older people. I didn't care. I was happy. It was my wedding day. I stood next to Devan and the world seemed to disappear around us. I looked into his eyes and got lost. Everything around us just flowed around us and it was like nothing mattered. I wasn't paying attention but I knew what to do when I hard a muffled voice

"I do," I looked at Devan

"I do,"

It was over quickly. I felt his lips press against mine and pulled away too quickly. There were claps and then we walked off.

Devan and I were sitting down at a table with other people from Devan's family. There were multiple tables and they were only half full. The lights were dimmed and there were colorful Christmas lights that I requested hanging all around the room

Collins stood in the middle of the room with a microphone in his right hand.

"I'm am so happy for these two but I never thought that my little brother would get married before me," He laughed lightly

"I'm so happy that they got together. I've been there for both of them through rough times and they still love each other just as much as they did when I met them." He continued

Devan looked over at me and smiled

"I'm so happy that all of the drama from three years ago has all passed and they can be happy together," he smiled while looking at us

Everyone clapped and he sat down. Eventually, everyone got up and we all started talking. Devan hooked his arm into mine as people came and talked to us.

"Devannn my mann," a guy with short black hair said coming up to us

"Tyler!" Devan said

"You never told me yo had a girlfriend,"

"Well... my wife now," he said pulling me closer

I blushed.

"It's nice to meet you... Ember was it?"

"Yes it's nice to meet you too," I said while Devan pulled me away.

He leaned down to my ear and whispered "I can't stand him,"

I nodded.

I meet a few more people including his aunts and uncles who didn't seem to like me.

"So you're Ember?" His Aunt Sarah said

"Yes, its a pleasure to meet you,"

"Devan why'd you pick her up?"

He just looked at his aunt

"She's just... so small and fragile,"

"Aunt Sarah! Just because she's small doesn't mean anything." Devan slightly snapped

I met his grandma though. She was a sweetheart.

"Oh you look lovely honey," She told me

"Thank you," I replied

Soon enough after metting a bunch of people and others asking where my family was Devan and I went home. It was our last night in the apartment. I sat down on the bed and flopped my back towards the mattress after changing into a great tank top and fuzzy pajama pants. Devan came next to me and we face each other on our sides.

"I love you Ember," he said

"No... it's Ember Key now," I winked

He snickered and wrapped his arm around me pulling me close. He kissed me softly while I was on top of him. We pulled away and smiled. I leaned back down and revived a kiss.

"I love you Ember Key,"

"I love you Devan Key,"
