Marvin's sleep spell didn't last long. It was only a few minutes later when he woke up and screamed bloody fucking murder. All he saw was darkness when his eyes were closed an it scared him like his worst nightmare. It was so suddenly that he spurned into a panic attack again but THAT didn't last long either.
Once he was back home under the lights in the living room, he became aware of his surroundings, albeit still curled tightly around himself.
He grit his teeth and just stared ahead of him, refusing to look anywhere else. Part of him was still trying to calm down and another was that he was too embarrassed to look at anyone.
He snarled a little and wrinkled his brow at the sound of Henrik's voice trying to get his attention. Why was he there? . . . . .After so long.
"Anti? Anti, my friend, please look at me. I want to check you, little brat." Henrik even chuckled a little at the pet name but Anti still didn't move, making the doctor sigh.
"Is he okay?" Sean asked, "Why's he just . . . . lying there?"
"Well I wonder why" Jackie growled at him, "This is all your fault, you traumatized him and now he's got PTSD or some shit!"
"Wrong but not too far off" Henrik corrected him, "He's just being his bratty self at the moment. He's fine now, he's just pouting. Think about it. Had to be embarrassing for him for us to see him in that way"
Marvin hummed, "Mr. Tough guy's walls were just smashed in and now he's trying to build them back up, huh? Anti, come on, man." he tried addressing him, "We don't see you any differently. It's okay to be afraid sometimes. We're all afraid of something"
Anti still gave no reaction for them, glaring in the distance at a wall.
JJ had been watching in concern, his observations ever so on point. He knew Henrik and Anti had always been close since he had to continuously help with his neck wound before. Since Anti possessed him, though, they had been off and on 'friends'. It seemed though that Schneep really was worried about Anti. He knew something about the void and felt pity for the glitch.
Jameson noticed Anti's posture curled up. He seemed fed up but he couldn't run away or else they'd just follow him and bombard him with questions or make him uncomfortable, not that he wasn't already. Poor Anti just looked fed up with the whole situation but he didn't know what to do.
So Jameson being the ever so understanding one, walked over to Anti on the floor and laid down beside him in front of his face so he HAD to look at him. Anti growled softly but still glared daggers straight ahead, trying not to look JJ in the eyes. But the mute just smiled at him and laid next to him. He didn't try to start a conversation or touch him. He just laid there.
The others watched the interaction quietly but eventually Anti's muscles started to relax a little and his snarl faded away to turn his expression neutral.
After a while with the others talking among themselves, JJ secretly signed to him, 'Are you feeling better?'
Anti swallowed but knew he could trust JJ at least a little and he mouthed, 'I'm fine.'
JJ just smiled, 'Good. Do you want to talk about it? What frightened you?'
The glitch just shook his head a little and Jameson nodded, 'Fair enough. Whenever you're ready to talk about it, we're here for you'
Anti rolled his eyes but he knew that was true no matter how much he didn't want to admit it. At least for Jameson, it was true. He was still unsure about the others.
He could hear them even if they just talked under their breathes to each other. They thought he couldn't hear them.
"What are we gonna do?" Sean asked, "You saw how he reacted to Dark. That prick must have triggered something in him or something. How did he even know!?"
