Dinner

Soarin's P.O.V~

We left to go have dinner, I knew it was going to be slightly awkward but I didn't care, just as long as I could spend time with Dashie I was fine. We both sat down at a restaurant, oh god I did not expect this.
Is today a special day, I swear to god. We sat down and every, and I mean every single person was with their special somepony it was so awkward, was this planned. I saw an uncomfortable look on Dashies face, obviously it was all the couples making out. It even made me cringe slightly.
I asked her if she was okay,
Rainbow: "Can we move to another place to eat?"
She asked uncomfortably
Obviously I said yes, I don't think I could've handled it to. But I swear every single place had people making out hugging or flirting. After what seemed forever of looking for a place that wasn't invaded by lovers, we gave up and just accepted the fact that no matter where we go there's gonna be ponies their with their loved ones. I sat down Rainbow opposite me. I stared into her magenta eyes as she started into mine. Smiles both smirked up on both of our faces. "Your beautiful" I said, oh crap did I really just say that out loud
Rainbow: "oh, um. Thanks, you too. Handsome I mean"
She blushed like crazy she was so cute. So I guess me accidentally calling her beautiful worked out.

Rainbows P.O.V~

I felt like I could never stop smiling, I can't believe Soarin just called me beautiful, I was not ready for it. Clearly he didn't mean to say it but it just came out.
I kept blushing and didn't know how to stop, he makes me feel all tingly and nervous. But if I wanna be the best flyer in all of Equestria, I have to put my defences up, cause I don't want to fall in love. I can't, it will just be another big distraction, plus I don't know how he feels about me. I doubt he would fall for someone like me. Being a Wonderbolt comes with responsibilities, and woman, there are lots of gold diggers and much more beautiful woman waiting for him, falling at his hooves for attention, I'm surprised he even would want to spend his time with a no-pony like me.
We asked the waiter to come and he was on his way over
Soarin's P.O.V~

" Hey can I get a hay burger with a salad please"
I asked politely

Waiter: and may I say, what would you beautiful mare-friend like.
Oh crap I looked over at Rainbow she let out a small giggle while blushing intensely

Rainbow : " I'm, I'll have a, daisy sandwich with hay fries please"

Waiter: okay
Then he left

Rainbow: Ha, mare-friend

"Yeah I know crazy"

Rainbow: "what would your mare-friend say about that"

"Oh, I don't have a special some-pony"

Rainbow: "huh?, really, I would've though someone as famous and handsomely cute as you would have a special some-pony"

Rainbows P.O.V~

Omg, I can't believe I just said that.
I immediately covered my mouth up so I would say anything else stupid.

Soarin let out a small cute chuckle.

Soarin: "I know I'm handsome, but you don't have to fall for me. ;)"

"Sure"
I sarcastically rolled my eyes

Soarin: "You would say I 'dashingly' good looking"

"Haha"

He always finds a way to make me smile

Soarin's P.O.V~

We are our food them I went to go drop Rainbow off at her house

Rainbow: "Thanks for everything, this was fun"

"No problem, we should do this more often"

Rainbow: yeah

Rainbows P.O.V~

Just as he wa sleazing I flew up to him calling his name
He turned around
I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek
I can't believe I did that
Is there something wrong with me?
Eh.
Soarin game me a grin and flew away
I fell asleep thinking about him....
