Hours had passed since 'the incident' . Kara sat on her bed; tears rolling down her cheek. Everything inside her hurt, it was like someoneone had reached down her throat with a hand full of kryptonite and burnt through all of her organs.

She checked her phone one more time. No replies. She had texted Alex but she had left for a training exercise with the DEO this morning. Then she thought about Nia but she didn't want to bring someone that wasn't already involved into the wreck that is known as Kara Danvers's Love life.

She knew she had to talk to someone and confide in, that's what her therapist says anyway, but there was no one around.

Kara scrolled through her phone one more time. Suddenly, her finger stopped the passing names. Kara sniffled and wiped her eyes. She took one last deep breath before jumping out of bed and rushing to her balcony and jumping into the sky.

She was aware that she was still in Kara danvers clothing but she hoped that nobody would be able to figure out it was her with the dark mask of the rainy night sky. At this point she couldn't tell what was tears or what was rain.

She landed outside a pair of glass doors approximately 60 stories above the quiet street.

The alien stood there defeated as her soaking hair dripped water down her back and face. Her mind was racing so much that she didn't see a figure in chequered pajama pants and a grey t-shirt opening the door and an arm reaching around her and leading her inside the apartment.

Her mind had frozen. She had no clue what she was doing at this point.

She was then helped down to the couch. Her muscles were tense at first but then relaxed again. Kara had a blank stare, she still had tears running down her cheeks but didn't care.

" I'm going to get some towels ok, I'll be right back. " They told her then dissapered. Kara hung her head down. How had it come to this? She was sat alone, dripping wet with rain water, feeling like absalute shit on a couch in James's penthouse. " Ok I'm back, I've got you a couple of towels and some dry clothes. "

" Thank you." Kara finally said quietly, snapping out of her trance. James placed the clothes he got for the drenched woman beside her.

James didn't have many, or any, pieces of women's clothing so the most he could pick out was a pair of his boxers and one of his shirts, which was going to be way to big for her.

" Alright so I'm going to go make you some hot cocoa whilst you go get changed. You know where my room is." Kara watched the man walk out of the room into what she remembered was the kitchen. She was so confused. It was like the conversation they had earlier that day never happened.

She decided to just ignore her wierd feeling and help the situation by not making it uncomfortable so she went into James's room and changed. Kara looked at herself in the mirror, the boxers were bassically like basketball shorts and she tucked the black shirt given to her into the shorts with a bit folded over the top.

As she looked around the room she realised that the room had not changed since the last time she was in there.
She remembered waking up one morning about a year ago in that exact bed. She opened her eyes to see herself in the reflection of the mirrors that covered one of the walls and hid a closet. Kara always got a little startled every time she woke up to those mirrors, she was always ready to jump up and fight but then, luckily, she always realised in time.

She remembered about 8 months back feeling an arm over her body and his hand placed on top of hers, a thumb started slowly rubbing circles on the back of her hand. James's face rested in the crook of her neck.

Suddenly, Kara felt James begin to kiss the part of her neck he was previously rested in. They were kind and gentle.

Kara giggles slightly. ' Good morning." She hummed softly. The kisses were now getting proggressivly rough. Quiet moans escaped her mouth every so often which made James work even harder.
