Who You Are

19 4 2

You're not the grade you failed to achieve
You're not the God in whom you believe
You're not the size of the dress you wear
You're not the colour you dyed your hair
You're not somebody's sister or wife
You're not the side character in someone's life
You are the smiles you gift to strangers
You're the home you give to dogs in danger
You're the pennies you hand to those in need
You are measured by your good deeds
You're the seat you offer to the old on the train
You're the kindness in your heart, not the knowledge in your brain
You're the advice you give, the hands you lend
You're the happiness you spread and the compliments you send
So don't worry about the judgement; what they say isn't true
A grade is just a letter, and even words can't define you.
