Chapter 13

Daniel's Pov
I scroll through Instagram for a while before hearing the door behind me unlock I turn around and see Jonah and Corbyn holding some bags, I put down my phone and go over to them to help them out, 'Hey dude, where were all morning,' Corbyn asks as we walk over to the kitchen together.  'Nothing I was just exploring ya know,' I say smiling. 'Uh huh, you coulda atleast called though,' he says putting down evrything. 'Yeah we thought you got lost on the first day,' Jonah says laughing. 'Haha right,' I say laughing. 'So what were you guys up to,' I ask putting away things into the pantry. 'Well we arranged something out of the boxes and into the living room and then left for the store,' Corbyn says. 'Yeah that's about but wait where Jack and Zach ?,' he asks standing up. 'Uhhhhh I dunno, when I came Jack was running around with a nerf gun and Zach came and hid behind me and when I asked him what was going on apparently he unplugged Jacks computer while he was playing fortnite soooooo, Zach's hiding somewhere in the house and Jacks searching for him outside' I say shrugging. 'Oh my god 🤦🏻‍♂️,' Jonah says slapping his forehead. Me and Corbyn just laugh while we continue unpacking the rest of the things. After a while we sat down on the sofa and Jonah played an episode of Game of Thrones for us to watch, out of nowhere we heard Zach yelling so we ran outside and we see Jack chasing him around the pool with a stick. I immediately start laughing  and I see Corbyn recording while Jonah goes and tries to stop the both of them, at the end Jack got thrown in the pool cause he tried to tackle Zach, eventually me and corbyn had to go help Jack out of the pool and keep them away from each other. When we got inside the house I got a call from "Nessa 🌑" I smile, 'hey guys I have to take this,' I say as I make my way to the backyard closing the door behind me,
D- 'hey,' I say as I answer the call.

N- 'hey,' she says.

D- 'your mom still at home?,' I ask.

N- 'yeah she's about to leave she's putting Lia to sleep,' she says.

D- 'ok I'll come over in a bit then,' I say excited.

N- 'hmmmmm,' she says.

D- 'what happened do you not want me to come,' I ask a confused and a bit hurt.

N- 'kidding kidding I was just wondering if I wanted to order something to eat or make something lol,' she says laughing.

D: 'oh lol ok then,' I say laughing.

D- 'if you want I can pick something up while I'm coming,' I say walking around the pool.

N- 'no no it's fine actually I'll order later, I'll probably make some popcorn now anyway,' she says.

D- 'ok then see you tonight,' I say with a huge grin on my face.

N- 'bye Dani,' she says, making me smile even more.

I turn around to walk towards the door but I see Corbyn standing near the door, 'so what's her name,' he asks smirking. 'Uh huh how do you know it's a girl huh,' I ask raising my eyebrows. 'Well I don't think you blush that much talking to a guy, but hey you do you,' he says putting his hands up. 'Ha ha ok you got it me it is a girl,' I say rolling my eyes.
'Dude isn't good that you finally started talking to a girl without being a loner for all these years,' he says coming over. 'Yeah well I only met her today so chill,' I say. 'Hey you never know the best relationships always start as strangers,' he says tiki ting his head. 'When did you become a love doctor,' I ask with a questioning look. 'Hey when you've been in a relationship for over 2 years you learn things,' he says proudly. 'Right, just don't tell everyone yet ok I wanna really get to know her first,' I say. 'No problem dude,' he says. 'Thanks dude,' I says hugging him. 'So your not staying for dinner right ?,' he asks pulling away from the hug. 'Oh yeah sorry dude,' I say. 'It's ok go get your girl,' he says pushing me. I just roll my eyes and laugh. We walk in, 'where the hell were you guys, I was stuck here with these two idiots arguing over whether we should have Taco Bell or Chik-fil-a for dinner,' Jonah says getting up from his seat. Me and Corbyn break into laughter imagining the whole situation, 'haha real funny guys,' he says rolling his eyes. 'Sorry dude,' I say trying to stop myself from laughing. 'Let's have Pizza then and also Daniels not staying for dinner he's going somewhere,' Corbyn says eyeing me. 'What where,' Zach says popping his head from under the sofa. 'Just out to meet a new friend of mine,' I say shrugging. 'Ooooooo is it a girlllll,' Jack says narrowing his eyes. 'Oh god, no it's not,' I say hitting my forehead. 'Ok then be careful and try not to get lost for real ok,' Jonah says sitting back down on the sofa. 'Yeah,' Corbyn says going over to the sofa and sitting down next to Jonah. 'Ok bye guys,' I say before grabbing the car keys and getting out the door. I back out of the driveway and start driving.
