14. Suspicion Arises.

Season 3 Episode 4: Disturbing Behavior

Lilith sipped lightly on her champagne as she waited for Rebekah to change. After the female original awoke and met back up with the group there was some yelling, screaming, and maybe even a punch thrown but it was fine...just typical Mikaelson nonsense. Lilith was happy that Rebekah was awake: she now had a shopping partner.

Lilith leaned back into Klaus' chest as Rebekah exited the changing room. Stefan looked up as Rebekah walked in front of them. The dress Rebekah was wearing left very little to the imagination.

"There has to be more to this dress." Rebekah said as she looked at herself in a mirror. Lilith smirked and took a sip of her champagne. The brunette could feel Klaus silently chuckle at Rebekah's words.

"As someone who's been around for a while let me tell you that there's nothing more to the dress." Lilith said with a small smile in Rebekah's direction. The blond groaned quietly causing Lilith's smile to widen.

"So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then. You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers." Rebekah said as she continued to look at the dress.

"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing." Klaus said as he pulled Lilith tighter against him. Klaus leaned up to whisper into Lilith's ear. "You could wear anything, love, and you'd still look stunning." Lilith smiled and kissed Klaus' cheek. Rebekah rolled her eyes at the display.

"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident." Lilith felt slightly bad for Rebekah because she had to learn how to navigate the 21st century but it was amusing to watch.

"It's dance music." Stefan said simply as he relaxed into his seat.

"People dance to this?" Rebekah asked incredulously as she looked at Stefan. Stefan hummed as an answer.

"Are we done?" Klaus asked, slightly irritated. Lilith rubbed her thumb against Klaus' hand to calm him down.

"And why are you so grumpy?" Rebekah asked her brother as she cocked her hip to one side.

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing. Your necklace. And you lost it." Klaus said lowly and Lilith leaned further back into him.

"I didn't lose it. It's just been missing for 90 years." Rebekah said to Klaus before she looked at Stefan. "So what do you think?" Rebekah asked, referring to the dress.

"I like it." Rebekah didn't seem happy with his answer. "What? I said I like it." Stefan said after he noticed Rebekah's look.

"I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan." Rebekah says before she goes back into the fitting room. Klaus looks at Stefan.

"Nice one. Good work." Klaus says with a smirk.

"You're the one that pulled the dagger out of her." Stefan said in response causing Lilith to chuckle.

"I heard that." Rebekah said from inside the dressing room causing Lilith to chuckle harder.

"All right. I'm going to get some fresh air." Stefan says as he gets up. Klaus pours himself and Lilith some more champagne as he leaves. Stefan leaves the store and sees Kathrine across the street. He makes his way over to her.
