Stay By My Side

Sana was the first to walk into the dorm, exhausted from the flight. The rest of the members felt the same, all of them couldn't wait to be back home. When the eight members walked in, no one really paid attention to the tv being on, until Dahyun let out a small scream. 

"What?!" Jihyo immediately ran into the living room, seeing their other two members sleeping on their couch. Everyone crowded around the two, letting out little gasps when they saw them. "Let them sleep... We can work around them." Jihyo whispered. 

Mina was the first to wake up hours after they had gotten home. She looked over to see Y/N still curled up on the opposite end of the couch, but she smelled food. She lifted her head seeing Momo and Chaeyoung in the kitchen, while Jeongyeon and Tzuyu were sitting on the floor playing video games quietly. 

"When did you guys get here?" Mina mumbled. 

"We could ask you the same thing." Chaeyoung laughed. Mina smiled, being with her members made her the happiest. Sana eventually walked into the living room, walking over the two members and sitting in between both of them, her hand instantly touching Y/N's hair and running her fingers through it. 

"We were surprised to see you both here." Sana chuckled quietly. "But Jihyo said to let you guys sleep." She smiled at her. 

"You should've woke us up... We're taking up so much of the couch." Mina frowned. She nodded, pulling the blanket up further on Y/N. Mina sat up, rolling herself up in the blanket and watching the two interact. She gave them a small smile, knowing how cute the two were together already. 

Y/N eventually woke up to Sana stroking her hair gently. Sana gave her a huge smile, bending down to kiss her forehead. 

"Good Morning." Y/N mumbled. 

"Good Afternoon." Sana corrected. Y/N chuckled, smiling at her. 

Everyone was overjoyed to have all ten members back together, every single one of them talking about what had gone on in their lives while they were out. Chaeyoung was showing off her sketchbook to both of them, showing her many drawings and how she had improved. Y/N smiled at all of them, knowing she was trying her hardest to get better at her already near perfect skill. She held Sana's hand under the table, both of them enjoying each others presence finally. The two had been away from each other for so long, they wanted to be together for a while. 

All of the other members had gone to bed, Sana and Y/N stayed behind in the living room to just spend time with one another. Y/N was curled up on Sana's lap, her arms wrapped around Y/N small frame as she pulled her closer. 

"I missed you so much." Sana whispered. "How are you feeling?" She asked. 

"Better. Mina and I had a good bonding time while you guys were gone." Y/N smiled up at her. 

"Oh yeah? What did you guys do?" She chuckled. 

"We went around the night market, bought a bunch of snacks, hung out in the park at like midnight... Then came to the dorm and binged watched Sailor Moon and passed out." Y/N chuckled. "All without supervision." She smirked. 

"Oh wow. So rebellious." Sana replied sarcastically. Y/N hit her arm playfully, hearing her laughter. 

"I love your laugh." Y/N smiled at her. Sana's cheeks flushed red, her hand covering her mouth as she immediately got shy. "Shy Sana!" Y/N gasped. 

"Stop it." Sana laughed. 

The two stayed up longer, talking about various things, both of them enjoying each others' company. Sana didn't want to admit it, but she hadn't felt complete with two of her best friends gone. When Mina had left, it had hit her hard, but when Y/N left.... She stayed up in the dorm or in the hotel room crying from missing her so much. Yeah, people would have told her it was the cute little honeymoon stage of their relationship, but she didn't feel like it was ever going to end. The pain of not having her girlfriend next to her hurt her mentally and emotionally. Fans saw her different side on stage, forcing a smile and playing it off all cute for them, but when she thought no one was looking, she didn't have the same face. Her eyes distant when she would look away from people. 

When it came time for Mina and Y/N's monthly meeting on their mental state, Mina had felt more confident with herself and wanted to try to do more. Y/N as well. She was feeling much better after seeing the feedback of their duet together. 

It wasn't long before the two were scheduled to be on a variety show together. Sana rode in the car with both of them, holding Y/N's hand tightly as they arrived at the building. All of them put on their masks, covering their faces as they walked into the building. Clothes were changed and hair and makeup was done. It was a shock to see their producer there, smiling at them. 

"Welcome back girls!" He smiled at them. 

"PDnim what are you doing here?!" Sana gasped. 

"I'm here to do the show with them." He laughed while gesturing to Mina and Y/N. Both girls let out loud laughter, knowing he was going to be terrible. They had seen what he had done before, and knew he was terrible. 

"This isn't like the other show you were on..." Mina tried to hide her laughter. 

"Yeah, they're going to ask tough questions." Y/N chuckled. 

"Yeah like can you do a handstand." Sana smirked. He just brushed them off, claiming he knew what he was doing. 

He of course, struggled throughout the entire variety show. Mina and Y/N were both thoroughly entertained with his actions and reactions to everything. 

"We're surprised to see both of you here. Does this mean you two are coming back for good?" The host smiled at them. 

"We hope." Y/N smiled.
