tonio_niel: Day 5 of camp and also meaning the last day 🥺 I've had so much fun with these girls the past few days and learnt so much from the team that I know will help me be a better player for my club. It was an absolute privilege to train with you all and I hope to do it again soon!

"so how did you rate your first camp out of 10 then?" Alex asks me as we sit in the plane flying back to Orlando
"a 15, it was everything I expected and more. All the girls were amazing I feel like I learnt a much just training with them" I tell Alex excitedly
"you were honestly amazing this week, it was like you've been training with us all for years" Alex says making me blush ever so slightly
"do you think everyone liked me?" I ask nervously having always been self-conscious of other peoples opinions
"Toni, they loved you. You were so nice and respectful to everyone but you weren't a pushover either and people like Carli and Becky appreciate that. You made friends with the older girls and the younger ones. Hell, you helped Mal with her Algebra homework when we all said we didn't want to" Alex tells me
"She looked like she was really struggling and know how hard I found maths at College so I just wanted to help her out, she's still really young compared to the rest of us" I reply thinking back to my reasoning
"and that's exactly why everyone already loves you, we all would've told Mal to forget about it and just come out with us, but the unselfish person you are stayed back with her while we all went out. If anything we should be taking a leaf out of your book" Alex says taking ahold of my hand discreetly
"you're the best you know that" I say smiling cheekily at Alex
"oh I know but it doesn't hurt to hear it" She replies smirking at me
