Maybe It's A Lie

Maybe it was never Love,

Maybe it was only a lie.

You only wanted her to fall in love,

So you could break her heart in the end.

You wanted her heart to break,

You wanted to see her hurt.

She was only a joke to you,

Maybe you never really cared.

You always said you loved her,

You said you'd always be there.

The next moment you broke her heart,

You left her vulnerable and bare.

You said you would protect her,

But you were the one who hurt her.

You should tell her the truth,

That you never loved her.

She fell in love with your deep blue eyes,

But you fell in love with how much you were hurting her.

The problem is she still loves you,

And all the lies you shared.
