Chapter 27

Jake's POV

"What!?" I yelled at Simon.

"Jake calm down" Lauren said trying to calm me down.

The girls, Austin Mahone and I are in Simon's office for a meeting. And apparently this meeting is so fucked up!

"How can I calm down when he's trying to make Camila and Austin do a publicity stunt!"

I turned to Austin

"No offense Austin. You're a cool dude it's not your fault"

"None taken" He said

"I'm agreeing with Jake here. Why do we need to do this stunt anyways?" Austin asked Simon

"Money" Simon said

"THATS SO!-----

I stormed out of his office and walked to my favorite place where it calms me down.

I took off my shoes and walked on the sand. Since I knew this beach very well I went into this cave where I'd always go to when I was younger.

I sat down at the edge of the cave where it shows a beautiful view of the beach.

As I calmed myself down, I felt my phone vibrating. And I see that I have 52 missed calls from Camila, 18 missed calls from Lauren, 24 text messages from my sister Nikki. I ignored them for now.

Sometimes Simon is cool but sometimes he piss me off. I really hate when management do this to artists. That's so unfair! Why can't management just shut their mouth let us live our life the way we want. I don't care about the money. The only reason why I signed the contract is because I just wanted people to know what I can do. I'm not doing it for money.

My mom used to always tell me that I would become known to other people one day and don't let anything stop you from reaching your dreams..

I can't lose Camila. I lost her once and I'm not losing her again! She completes me. I love her so much that I can't explain my feelings.

I checked my phone. And its 7:35 p.m
Wow, I've been here for a long time. Maybe I should head back.

I was walking home, since I didn't have a ride. I would've called my brothers to pick me up, but I don't wanna bother them.

Suddenly my phone started ringing.

I answered my phone without checking who was calling.

"Hello?" I said softly

"Jake! Where are you? I'm so worried" I noticed that voice.

"Don't worry I'm coming home now. I'm sorry for running off. I just needed some time to think."

"I understand. Please hurry back. I miss you"

I wasn't really paying attention when I was crossing the road

Suddenly everything turned black...
