we see the D.E.J team in the tank having a talk but Dedede and Escargoon don't know that Jonathan is asleep against Dedede's back but without knowing they crashed into the Mayor's car making the whole group fall in their vehicles while Jonathan got his upper body stuck in the container of the tank with the other cappies wonder what happen with the Mayor walking up to the D.E.J team saying
Mayor Len Blustergas: don't you know it's dangerous to speed on a small road?
Escargoon: how dare you, this is the king your talking to!
Dedede: you have no right to talk to me like that
Jonathan: [mumbles] why don't we ask Chief Bookem?
Dedede: let me get you out of there
Dedede then grabbed Jonathan on the end of his long sleeve shirt and pulled him out of the container saying
Dedede: now what was it you said?
Jonathan: why don't we ask Chief Bookem?
Mayor Len Blustergas: Chief Bookem, maybe you know who's at fault here
Dedede: don't blame it on me, I'm the king
the whole group then gained shocked looks when they saw Bookem asleep at his post with the D.E.J team and cappies walking towards him only to see Bookem woke up to see the D.E.J team and cappies on the road and said
Chief Bookem: hey, what are you all doing on the road? you'll cause traffic
Mayor Len Blustergas: Chief Bookem, you've been sleeping on the job!
Jonathan: don't argue, chief, we saw it with our own eyes
Chief Bookem: me? sleeping on the job... hey! what's that rumbling!?
the whole town shook making the D.E.J team look around to see who it was until Jonathan put his ear to the ground and heard drilling and stood strait up yelling
Jonathan: RUN!
the D.E.J team and cappies ran from their spots and a drill came out from underground only to see the drill attached to a vehicle with Robotnik at the controls saying
Dr. Robotnik: it works
D.E.J: ROBOTNIK!
Chief Bookem: Robotnik?
Dr. Robotnik: oh no, not them
Jonathan: what's the big idea coming here in the drill?
Dedede: we're in the middle of something
Dr. Robotnik: sorry for the interruption, I'm only testing my drill-o-matic 9000 mark 2, in fact, it's the perfect time to test the battle function of the drill
Escargoon: battle function?
Jonathan: it's very bad, the thing with the marks of machines is that their bigger, badder, stronger and has more health
Dedede: get to safety! we'll handle this!
Chief Bookem: go! go! I got you're back, your majesty
Jonathan: are you sure?
Chief Bookem: I may be old, but I still got some fight inside me
Dedede: let's do this
Dr. Robotnik: yes, let's do this once and for all!
