Episode 12: Escargoon Squad

we go to the castle in the throne room to see Jonathan and Dedede in the throne room doing another chess game until Escargoon came in the room holding something in his hand saying

Escargoon: sire, I got something that will help make your life better

Dedede: let me see that, let's see, uh, I give up, what is it?

Jonathan: it's a type of camera

Escargoon: that's right, just one click and we'll have a clean photo of you

Dedede got excited and ran outside on one of the balconies and turned towards Escargoon holding the camera and held one of his hands up with a peace sign saying

Dedede: this good?

Escargoon: that's perfect, hold that position

and with a flash the camera pushed out a photo that is all white and Escargoon pulled it out only for Dedede to swipe it out of his hand to see if the photo is clearing up and Escargoon said

Escargoon: is it clearing up?

Dedede: starting to

Jonathan: not a bad picture

Escargoon got a closer look and became scared when he saw a ghost hovering over one of Dedede's shoulders and backed away saying

Escargoon: sire! there's a ghost haunting you in that picture!

Jonathan: say what!?

Dedede: yeah, but why me?

Escargoon: it must be the ghost of a cappy you made miserable when it was alive, it's probably come back to make you miserable too

there was no response from Dedede until they heard him chuckle a bit until he started laughing and said

Dedede: that's funny! no way a ghost would try and haunt me, I'd show them who's boss

when Dedede threw the photo over the balcony he started walking to the throne room while Jonathan leaned over to Escargoon and whispered

Jonathan: messing with the camera to make people think a ghost is haunting them, that's neat

Escargoon: you knew about my plan?

Jonathan: you kidding? I saw every episode of Kirby, how do you think I know all of this?

Escargoon: sire, think we should go see Mable, just in case?

Dedede: might as well

the D.E.J team then got in their tank and headed off to cappy town but when they got close to the town the tank was flipped making the D.E.J team fall out onto the grass and saw what flipped them, what they saw was a big black metal ball with a chain, has a mouth with pointy teeth, eyes and barks like a dog making both Dedede and Escargoon confuse saying

Escargoon: that's the strangest dog I've ever seen!

Dedede: but what kind of dog is it!?

Jonathan: it's a Chain Chomp! it's probably one of Doom's guard dogs, and he sent it to take us down, we can't cause much damage to it, but if one of us can get behind it and grab it by the chain and swing it around, it will gain more damage when it makes contact with the ground

Escargoon: we better make it quick

Dedede: yeah, that dog could cause a lot of damage to cappy town
