Justin

I showed Lila and her brother around the city a little. She seemed to be enjoying the sights. Afterwards, we stopped for some frozen yogurt. Her brother Clay ate two whole medium sized cups of ice cream while Lila and I only ate one. We talked and joked and have fun the whole time. I suddenly thought that maybe I should show them around the local mall. It was pretty big and the stores were twice as better as in any other city.

"Want to go to the mall? It's just around the block." I offered as we left Fro-Yo's.

Lila nodded. "Heck yeah, anything but home."

Clay just groaned. "Seriously? I'm going to miss the new episode of Smallville!

"Smallville?! That's tonight?" I responded.

Clay nodded. "Yep, and it's getting good. Really good."

"Yeah, I need to watch-" I felt Lila grab my arm pull me back.

"No no, you're not going home. I want to go to the mall!" She pouted.

I could hardly resist. "But-"

She slipped her hand in mine "Please?"

I closed my eyes for a second, feeling her warm hand on mine. I nodded. "Ok."

"Yay!"

Clay groaned even louder. "Blah! I'm walking home!"

Lila glared at him. "Fine, get lost. It'll make life easier."

He stuck out his tongue. "How far's the house?" He asked me.

I sighed. "Just go down three blocks and make a left, you'll see it."

Clay nodded. "I'm out." He quickly began to make his way home.

I turned to Lila. "I can't believe you're making me miss Smallville."

She rolled her eyes. "It's just a show, now c'mon. Let's go to the mall!"

Lila and I walked around the mall for a while and stopped a few stores. Eventually I lost Lila inside Claire's. I didn't know how that was possible but she seemed to be moving around a lot.

I stopped by the counter to admire the cellphone chains. They had all cool sorts. Music signs, guitars, and even puppies.

"Justin!" I felt Lila tap my shoulder.

I turned around. "There you are, I thou-" I lost my train of thought. Lila was wearing a white and black cap with the words Bieber written across it. Wow, I didn't know they had released those yet. She looked cute in it though. Really cute.

"Um, wow, look's good on you."

She smiled. "Does it? I kind of liked the Jonas Girl one they had back there."

I didn't let disappoint show in my voice. "I'll buy you the Jonas one if you like."

Lila giggled. "I was kidding!" She slapped my arm and smiled. "I'm getting this one and I'm paying for it."

I suddenly felt stupid for not realizing the joke. "Um, no I'm paying for it."

"No, it makes me feel guilty." she blushed.

Aww. "Well if you pay for it then it makes me feel guilty."

She shook her head. "No way, Bieber. I'm paying for it. It's final."

"Not happening!" I said as I snatched the cap off her head.

"Justin!!" She yelled.

I quickly handed the cap to the lady behind the counter as I held captive in my free arm.

"Justin, let me go!" She struggled.

I ignored her.

"13 dollars and 43 cents." The lady said giving me and Lila a look that said she thought we were crazy. Huh. She hadn't even noticed who I was.

I did my best to dig out a 20 dollar bill out of my pocket. I handed it to the lady.

"Bieber!" Lila argued.

The counter lady raised an eyebrow and handed me the cap and the change. "Thanks for shopping at Claire's." she mumbled.

I let Lila go and threw the cap onto her head.

She glared at me. "That was so embarrasing!"

I laughed. "Hey, it was either the easy way or the hard way. And don't I deserve a thank you?" I pouted.

Lila's frown turned into a smile. "Thanks Justin." She rolled her eyes.

I put my arm around her in a friendly way. "You really do look nice in that cap."

Lila

Justin and I chatted as we walked back home. I ended up going up to my room, or guest room, exhausted. Justin stayed downstairs watching reruns of Smallville with Clay. I tried to fall asleep but it was impossible. I was tired, but not enough to fall asleep. I sighed and sat up. I thought about calling up my best friend, Macie, but I changed my mind. Instead I took out my iPod and popped it into the radio that was sitting next to me. Tell Me That You Love Me by Victoria Justice began to play. It was one of my all time favorite songs so of course singing along was the only option.

"The situations turns around enough to figure out

That someone else has let you down

o many times I don't know why

But I know we can make it as long as you say it

So tell me that you love me yeah

And tell me that I take your breath away

And maybe if you take one more than I would know for sure

There's nothing left to say

Tell me that you love me anyway

Tell me that you love me anyway

Ohhh ..."

"Hey, you asleep?"

I practicly jumped out of my skin. I reached over and turned off my iPod, my cheeks bright red. It was Justin. Had he heard me singing?

"Um, no, can't fall asleep."

"Oh." He walked over and sat down on my bed. "You're a fan of Victoria Justice?"

He had heard me.

"Yeah, she's a great singer and actress."

Justin nodded in agreement. "And she's really nice too."

"You know her?" I sat up straight.

He nodded. "Yeah, she's really funny."

"Cool." I smiled.

"You have a nice voice by the way." He grinned.

I smirked. "Yeah right, I bet I have the same voice as my mother." I shivered at the thought of my mother trying to sing.

He just laughed. "No, you really do have a nice voice. No joke." He raised his hands up in defense as if proving a point.

"Thanks" was all I could say.

He smiled. "You look tired, I should let you sleep."

No. I thought to myself but instead I said, "Um, yeah, I'm exhausted."

His eyes flickered to the cap he had bought me today which was laying on my other pillow.

I couldn't help but smile. "Thanks again for the cap, I don't really feel much guilty about you buying it."

He just smiled as he stood up to leave. "No reason to be." He softly closed my door and I could hear his footsteps disappear into his room across the hall. He was a really nice guy. And I meant it.
