“Dad yesterday I enjoyed a lot,
I feel pity for those who missed the picnic,” said shyam gazing at Ratna and anjali from peripheral view.
“Yes, khushi is a lively person.
Who brings happiness wherever she walks” said Arshad.
Ratna and anjali got irritated by their conversations.
“Mom we should do something to remove her from our family” whispered anjali.
“I understand you Anju but,
We can't do anything as of now because she has arnav support along with our husbands,
So it is better to wait for a chance” whispered back Ratna.
Anju nodded getting annoyed by hearing praises of khushi from Arshad.
“Mom, dad never praised me till now but,
He is praising that girl as if his own daughter” whispered anjali.
Ratna just nodded gazing at the way khushi is coming.
“Papa/Bhai your tea and coffee” saying she distributed them.
She turned towards Ratna and anjali. They gave her a hard glare, but she cared less forwarded the coffee.
Ratna was about to shout at her but seeing arnav she took it without making a scene as she didn't want to become worse in his view. Anjali copied her action with confusion.
“Chotte When is your flight?” asked Arshad.
“Afternoon dad” replied arnav.
“We will come to send off you guys.
What about you guys?” Arshad asked Ratna and anjali.
“We are busy” replied Ratna showing her disinterest.
They didn't try to convince them.
“Can I ask you something?” khushi asked arnav as they came to their room.
Arnav nodded thinking about the possibility.
“I want to visit the temple before leaving India” said khushi.
“Ok, then let's go” saying arnav grabbed his car keys.
Khushi nodded with a smile.
At temple:
Arnav halted the car before the temple. Khushi came out and was waiting for arnav. She frowned seeing him not coming.
“Don't you want to come?” asked khushi.
“No, I don't believe in god” replied arnav still sitting in the car.
Khushi walked into the temple giving him a disbelief look.
Forty-five minutes passed away but she did not come. Arnav walked into the temple looking for her. He came towards the backside of the temple searching for her, but he didn't find her. Tension started taking place in his heart and mind thinking where she must be and how?
He heard a soft giggle sound and it was khushi. He signed in relief and walked towards her. He found her sitting on the ground with a small white furred puppy on her lap.
“Khushi what are you doing?
Where did you find this dog?” asked arnav.
“His name is Jimmy, not dog and I found him sitting here alone. I think he must be looking for his keeper” replied khushi.
“How do you know his name?” asked arnav while settling beside her.
“See” saying she showed him the tag around that dog's neck.
