They enjoyed roaming around the place and khushi was the one who enjoyed the most for two reasons, one was she got a wonderful surprise on her birthday day and another one was she got to explore the city which was glowing in its night glory.
They had their dinner at a fine restaurant and by the time they reached home they felt exhausted.
“I had a wonderful day with you khushi, you know I used to go out with Arnav before but I never enjoyed it like I did today,” said Arshad.
Arnav glanced at him with a look that says you will never change and this time khushi laughed to heart content seeing these father-son's cute banter.
“Papa, can't you stay one more day?” asked khushi
“I wish beta but I have meetings lined up,” said Arshad, stroking her hair.
“It's ok papa but next time you have to stay for a week or more” demanded khushi.
“Sure, now go get some sleep you must be tried,” said Arshad.
Arnav had a smile seeing his father and wife. They became like daughter and father.
“Dad, why can't you stop teasing me?” asked Arnav as Khushi left for her room.
“I can't help son. I feel like your life is boring,” Arshad replied with a grin.
“Dad really! then you must be boring because most of the time I hang out with you since my school age,” said Arnav with a grin.
“I am not boring, son” came his reply.
“How is mom and di?” asked Arnav, ignoring his statement.
“Fine but she is not talking with me for supporting your decision and anju I don't why she never thinks with her own brain” replied Arshad.
“I am sorry dad because of me mom is not talking with you,” said arnav.
“Don't be sorry arnav till now whatever decision she took were right but I don't know what happened to her when it came to your marriage and I just hope she will realise soon and I know she will, she is hot-headed women but she cares for her children the most?” said Arshad.
“I hope so, dad.
Good night” said arnav.
“Good night and sleep tight my son,” said Arshad, giving him a hug.

He finds her standing near the window.
“Why are you still awake khushi?” asked arnav.
“I was waiting for you” came her reply.
“Why?” asked arnav with a grin.
“I was not feeling sleepy, but now I am, so good night arnavji” she slides into the bed and signs as how can she say the truth that she was waiting for him because she can't sleep without his warmth.
Arnav smiled at her and slid beside her after changing into his nightwear. He wraps his arms around her frame taking her in his arms.
“I don't mind if you say that you can't sleep without my presence,” said arnav.
Khushi looked at him with shock, he chuckled seeing her expression.
“I was never that obvious then how did he know?” thought khushi.
“You were sleeping at my side yesterday, so I thought you must be missing me and my presence,” said Arnav with a grin.
“How is he answering to my thoughts?” thought khushi.
