"What is the Matrix?" Natalie asked. "It is a reality above our own," Morpheus answered. "But to get there, you'll need to take a special pill." "Pill?" Natalie asked. "But I don't even take drugs. It's bad for my health."
"Today, you'll have to take pills to enter the new reality," Morpheus answered. "Now let's get this over with." Morpheus reached into the pockets of his robes, and pulled out two different colored pills. The red pill, and the blue pill. (Yes, I'm repeating scenes from the first movie. Well I need to do that, so I can let everyone know what movie this story is based off of. Much like the Friday The 13th story I wrote last year. Yes, there were stereo types, but at least it was good.)
"If you take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed, and believe whatever you want to believe," Morpheus explained. "If you take the red pill, and you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." "That's a little joke," Mark said. Natalie got nervous, and decided which pill to take in order to enter the Matrix.
After deciding, Natalie chose the red pill, placed it in her mouth, and swallowed. Once she swallowed it, Natalie found herself in a blank white void where only the tables, chairs, and Morpheus arrived with her. Natalie's got perplexed after seeing herself in the middle of nothing, but Morpheus explains. "You seem confused," Morpheus said. "Your father felt the same, after I showed him the advantages the Matrix has. All that's left for you to do now is close your eyes, and go to sleep."
"But if I do that, I might end up in that other void I keep seeing when I fall asleep," Natalie said. "Not after I take the pill I gave you," Morpheus explained. "Whoever takes the red pill enters where the Matrix is." Natalie took a breath, and followed Morpheus's advise by going to sleep in the chair she was sitting on. After closing her eyes, Natalie reopened them, and found herself in a room with black walls, and mechanical furniture, where she was laying on a chair, but she was still wearing her school uniform. After getting off of the chair, Natalie then found a mirror, and noticed that her head was covered by a brace. "What is this place?" Natalie asked. "A hospital room?" Suddenly a door opened next to her, and Miranda came into the room with Mark.
Miranda was a girl with tanned skin, and black hair, and was also wearing a jean vest, a white t-shirt, jean pants, black boots, and wrist bracelets. Mark was a blonde teen, wearing a blue hoodie, black pants, a grey t-shirt, and sneakers. "Look who's finally awake," Mark said. "You two were with my ex before I took that pill," Natalie said. "But I swear I've seen you two before." "We go to the same private school," Miranda explained. "I am a classmate from tennis, and Mark here is a member in the same fencing team as you." "You saved our asses back those couple of times when we got that many trophies," Mark added.
