Confessions || A WangXian fanfiction (most likely will not be updating, sorry!)

Chapter 2

          After paying for their stay, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan wandered out of the inn, hand in hand. Lan Zhan continuously opened and closed his new fan. "I don't understand...when did you paint this?" Wei Ying grinned. "I had trouble staying asleep, so early in the morning, I wandered out into the town. Who would imagine that I would come across Nie Huaisang! Nie is really good when it comes to fans, so when I told him I wanted to get you something special, he gave me an empty fan and taught me how to paint. I'm really happy you like it." Wei Ying smiled shyly. Lan Zhan gave him a peck on the cheek. "Of course I like it, its made by you!" he said. 

          The couple wandered around town for a while, before a question crossed Wei Ying's head. "Lan Zhan, did you ever tell anybody that you like me?" he asked. "I told one person; Sizhui. That day, I really had to confide me emotions to someone, and I trust Sizhui would never judge me. What about you, did you tell anyone?" Lan Zhan said. "I told Wen Ning, but that's it." Wei Ying replied. Lan Zhan smiled. The two walked for a little while, until Wei Ying had another question.

          "Lan Zhan...where will we go after this?" Wei Ying asked. Lan Zhan's smile disappeared. "I...don't know. We can try Cloud Recesses, but I'm scared about what Xichen and Grandmaster will think of us. I mean, Grandmaster doesn't really like me anymore...and no offense, you aren't one of his favorites either. Hopefully Xichen will be more sympathetic." Wei Ying gave him a reassuring smile. "We're love. No one can stop love." Lan Zhan smiled back at him.

          By the afternoon, they were at the gates of Cloud Recesses. Lan Zhan took a deep breath. Wei Ying could see that he was really nervous. He gave Lan Zhan's hand a reassuring squeeze. 

          "I can do the talking, if you want." Wei Ying said softly. Lan Zhan shook his head. "No, I should do it. After all, I'm a member of the Lan Clan." He let out a sigh. Wei Ying gave him a small kiss. "For confidence," he said. "Because no matter what happens, I'll always be there for you." Lan Zhan smiled at him, and kissed him on his lips. "I love you Wei Ying. I need you in my life forever. You are my world." he said. Wei Ying laughed. "You're my world too." he said, as they stepped through the gates of Cloud Recesses together.

          Soon, they arrived at they Main Hall. Just then, Sizhui ran out. "Hanguang Jun! Master Wei! It's so good to see you!" he exclaimed, hugging them each. Lan Zhan laughed. "Good to see you too, Sizhui. Also, I told Wei Ying." Sizhui looked at him with surprise. "Really? How did Master Wei react?" he asked. The couple exchanged a look, before Wei Ying gave Lan Zhan a passionate kiss on his mouth. Sizhui's mouth formed a wide "O" shaped. "Wow, are you guys a thing now?!" he said, excitedly. Wei Ying grinned. "You could definitely say that." he said.

          After a few more moments of chatting with Sizhui, something crossed Lan Zhan's head. "Sizhui, how is Xichen and Grandmaster's mood today?" he asked. "They're pretty happy...why?" Sizhui asked. Lan Zhan sighed. "I want Wei Ying to stay with me forever. Here, in Cloud Recesses. But...I don't know if Xichen and Grandmaster will approve or let him stay." Lan Zhan said. "I approve. Its now all up to Grandmaster." a voice from behind said. Startled, the three of them turned around.

          "Zewu Jun!" Wei Ying exclaimed, bowing. Lan Zhan froze. "Xichen...I-" "Don't worry Lan Zhan, I've known for a while." Xichen said, a smile on his face. "You have? How?" Lan Zhan asked. "Its fairly obvious. My brother is always happier when Master Wei is around, and is always blue when he isn't. Besides, you left your journal on your bed a few weeks ago, and I may or may not have taken a peek at it." Xichen replied with a guilty smiler on his face. 

          Lan Zhan turned bright red. "Xichen! Please tell me you're joking. Don't tell me...you actually read it." he said. Xichen grinned. "Oh, I did read it, Wangji. I'll be honest, I learned a lot about you. Would you like me to share some of the things?" Lan Zhan looked extremely embarrassed, and Wei Ying gave him a playful nudge. "Come on Lan Zhan,  I wanna read it. Did you talk about me?" he asked, giving him a playful wink. Xichen nodded. "Basically every page had something about you." Wei Ying's eyes sparkled. "Really Lan Zhan! I want to read it!" he said. Embarrassed, Lan Zhan tried to run away, but ran into Grandmaster. Lan Zhan let out a gasp.

          "G-g-grandmaster!" Lan Zhan stammered, going into a bow. Grandmaster looked at him. "He can stay." he said. Lan Zhan looked up. "W-w-what do you mean?" he said. Grandmaster gave him a small smile. "I know what you wanted to ask me; you wanted to know if Wei Wuxian could stay at Cloud Recesses." Lan Zhan was stunned. "How did you know?" Grandmaster rolled his eyes. "You, Wei Wuxian, and Zewu Jun are so loud, I bet they could hear you from Lotus Pier." he said. Lan Zhan looked at him, at first smiling, but then concerned.

          "Grandmaster, you aren't mad at me...are you?" Lan Zhan stuttered out. Grandmaster let out another sigh. "I'm surprised, but love is love. The least I could do for you is to make you happy." Just then, Wei Ying came sliding over and bowed deeply. "Thank you Grandmaster for letting me stay with Lan Zhan!" Grandmaster's eyes turned cold. "I did it for Lan Wangji. But if you must stay here, you have to follow all the rules. NO ALCOHOL." Grandmaster boomed. Wei Ying bowed even deeper. "Yessir." he said, giving Lan Zhan a cute wink. Lan Zhan smiled. He was glad that neither Zewu Jun nor Grandmaster had judged him, and accepted Wei Ying easily.

          Author's Note; Hi guys! I want to add Lan Zhan's journal full of secrets as a chapter...hmm should I? I'll probably put it in as an extra chapter hehe
