I walked to me and Ant's room. I didn't like the silence. It always makes me feel awkward. I entered the room finding Ant sobbing into a pillow like a baby.
"Hey it's ok"
"No it's not Jordan!"
"Why isn't it"
"He wanted to leave because of OUR problems! We failed as parents ok!"
"Ant he didn't mean to hurt you like that cut him some slack"
"Jordan...you just don't understand"
"What don't I understand"
"When I couldn't sleep every once in a while me and Eragon would just talk. He told me that when we fought he wanted some way to escape. He didn't particularly like out group of friends brinery scared him. He said israphel was way to whiney. He didn't like his life Jordan. He was even scared of you! He his all his feelings behind closed doors. Now you understand how we failed!"
"Eragon, was was scared of me?"
"Yes when you yelled you scared him"
"I didn't mean to"
With that I fled the room tears threatening to spill. It wasn't Ant who had failed it was me it was always my fault. Everything I try to do right fails.
