More to Miki then meets the eye | Kirito's accidental waifu part 4

 Miki was fast asleep in Kazuto's bed passed out from exhaustion and crying, meanwhile, Kazuto and Asuna stayed downstairs to discuss the events that just happened. 

Asuna sighed as she sat beside Kazuto on the sofa. 

Kazuto crossed his arms while thinking. 

Asuna turns to face Kazuto. 

"Kirito...we need to talk."

He sighs and turns to her. 

"Yeah, no kidding."

"Kirito, there's something you need to know...about Miki."

"Did she say something earlier?"

Asuna slowly nods.

"She kept talking about Kikuoka being 'so much more in her world'"

"What?"

"And how now she knows 'who the real Kikuoka is...'"

"Wait, Miki knew who Kikuoka was before I mentioned him?"

"That's what also shocked me..."

"A-Asuna, how can Kikuoka exist in Miki's world? she's from a dating simulator..." 

Kazuto's eyes suddenly widen. 

"Unless...!"

He takes Asuna's hand and runs to his bedroom. 

"K-Kirito!"

As his bedroom door slams open, Miki falls out of the bed from the impact.

She yelps in shock. 

"!!!"

While Asuna watches in confusion as  Kazuto rummage around his shelves, she smiles nervously at Miki who was rubbing her eyes groggily from sleeping. 

Her eyes were red from her tears.

"That bastard...he wouldn't, would he?" Kazuto mutters to himself as he checks through different games on his shelf till he finds his copy of Miki's dating simulator game. 

He flips over the game and scans the back of the game cover intensely. 

Asuna watches in silence, her eyes grow with concern. 

She sees Kazuto looking exhausted and defeated. 

He sighs in relief and leans against his shelf. 

"So that bastard didn't somehow involve himself with the making of this game..." 

Asuna walks up to Kazuto and sits beside him.

"Are you alright, Kirito?"

"Yeah, I was just checking if Kikuoka was involved with Miki's game or not...luckly, he's not." Kazuto smiles softly. 

"That's good..."

"Yeah, is she awake?"

"Mhm..."

"Good, I need to get to the bottom of this."

"Are you sure you want to?"

"What do you mean, Asuna?"

"W-we just got Kikuoka out of our lives...do we really want to bring him back into it again?"

"Y-you've got a point there...but I need to know if Kikuoka has anything to do with Miki's arrival, so we know how to get her back into her game..."

"Alright..."

Kazuto walks up to Miki and kneels down to her. 

Miki looks at him.
