-Dib-
Dib woke up, it was now Sunday which ment school was tomorrow. Dib got dressed and checked his cameras to see if Zim's up to anything earth threatening.
He found Zim at his kitchen sink, he was washing Gir like a parent washing their baby. Gir seemed happy and was giggling by whatever Zim was saying in what was probably his native language. Zim's back was turned so Dib couldn't see if Zim was happy or not. After a bit Zim set Gir on a towel on the floor and used another towel to start drying him. 'Zim seems. . . happy?' Dib thought as he watched, 'I thought for sure he didn't like his little robot thing because it didn't follow orders.'
Zim then finally dried the little dangley bit on Gir's head and said something that made Gir ecstatic and run to the door. Zim went down to his lab for a bit and came up with a leash, Gir's dog outfit, and his school bag. Gir put the outfit on and and was jumping up and down, Zim attached the leash and slung the bag around his shoulder and they went out the door.
Dib got up from his chair and went downstairs, "And just where are you going?" Dib was almost got to the door when he turned around to see his dad facing him with his arms crossed and his eyebrow raised. "I'm going out to get so fresh air." Dib said trying to make an excuse that didn't make him sound crazy and left to go look for Zim.
The professor sighed and went to his lab.
-Zim-
It was a nice day out and I thought I'd be nice to hang out with Gir for a little bit, so I washed him and his disguise. Gir also naggs me all the time to sing his favorite song, which is a lullaby for Irken smeets when they still need sleep. So while I was washing him I dicided to sing it.
Most smeets will forget the song but I had much better control over my pak then the others at a young age amd so I recorded it when it was playing and saved it. I found it one day and started to sing with it and Gir loved it. So sometimes I sing it to him when I need him calm or I want to be nice to him. I tried having the computer do it for me but Gir says he wants me to do it because he likes my voice. In a lot of ways Gir is like a smeet when I think about it.
"Where do you wanna go Gir?" I asked since I promised him he gets special treatment today because this was the day Gir found out about Birthdays so I chose this day to be his. Since he didn't really have one, and apparently on Earth birthdays are important.
"Can we got to the tree place!" Gir said hugging my leg and looking up at me. "Are you sure? We could go anywhere, even Bloaty's." Gir nodded a bunch and said, "I know but I really wanna go there!" I gave in and smiled, "Alright Gir we can go." I said Gir then ran in the direction but was stopped by my sturdy grip on the leash.
We were walking when I was approached by the Dib human. Gir got me in a really good mood. Too good of a mood to insult him for being gross and to close to me.

"Hey Zim." Dib said catching up to Zim and walking next to him. "Hi Mary!" Gir said waving his little paw and turning around and jumping around backwards. "Hello Zim's robot dog." "Oh, his name's Gir by the way." Zim felt a bit awkward that Dib didn't really know Gir's name so why not just tell him.
"Wacha' doing" Dib asked it the friendliest way he could manage. "Today is Gir's birthday so I decided to go out dor a walk with him and let him choose where we would go." Zim said chirpy as he turned a corner.
"Can I tag along with you?" Dib asked in a polite tone. "Gir?" Zim asked see if it'd be fine if Dib came with them. "Sure, I like Mary! So he can come too!" Gir said happily but didn't turn around.
Gir would sometimes try to chase a squirl or a kid and dart in a direction but Zim wouldn't even budge and eventually Gir went back to the front. Dib had to admit Zim was pretty strong. When he used to walk his neighbor's dog when it would dart in a direction Dib would be dragged down.
