hope led her too their room and on rowans bed laid out dress pants and a white button up shirt along with dress shoes. rowan looked skeptically at hope. "get ready it'll be worth it. i promise" hope said with a big smile. rowan tired from the game decided she should just do as the goal keeper said. she showered and got ready. her slightly damp hair didn't make much of a stain on the button up thank fully. hope walked over to her and rolled her sleeves to her forearms and clipped rowans chain on for her. "you look amazing" hope said and rowan swore she could see tears. hope wore a beautiful black dress and it made the goal keeper look stunning. "come on" hope said as she led her out and too the meal room. they stopped in the lobby which was dark and when a dim light turned on rowan saw not only all of her teammates and coaches dressed up but the one person she wanted most. sabrina wore a stunning rose gold tight dress and her hair was curled. "hey ro" sabrina said softly taking in the girls appearance. "i uh i you look what?" rowan looked around confused. "what's going on?" rowan finnaly asked. "well ro. since you couldn't go to prom. we brought prom to you" abby responded. "this is for you" abby said handing rowan a corsage for sabrina. rowan smiled and put it on the girl as sabrina put on rowans buiteneir. hope snapping pictures of the two like a face book mom. "you look incredible" rowan finally managed out. "so do you. don't get me wrong. the turtle shorts are a huge turn on but this is better" sabrina teased. "okay guys get together let's snap some pics!" hope said. everyone laughed at hope which earned them the death glare before hope turned and smiled softly at the two. rowan slid her hand around sabrinas waist as sabrinas hand went to rowans chest. they walked into the meal room and were taken back at how beautiful it was. a disco ball and abby and christie were the DJs. "this is awesome" rowan said. "yeah it is. ro, you really do have the best people" sabrina told her. rowan looked around her and saw how much everyone had done. "come on. let's go dance" rowan said tugging sabrina to the dance floor. the whole group danced the whole night. the fact that they had done this amazed rowan but what really showed the love was how they all put on heels after a game. that made rowan feel mad love for the girls. they danced until 1 AM and then they all hung out in the lobby eating snacks and hanging out. sabrina sat on rowans lap as they all shared embarrassing stories. "oh my god. she used to be SO annoying. she would be sitting in the back of the class with her little turtle shorts and juggling that ball under the table." sabrina said as everyone laughed and rowan blushed. "uh since when did this become bash on rowan hour?" rowan asked after countless embarrassing stories. "oh remember when tobin was a traitor and left rowan to take the blame for their prank" alex chuckled. "yeah that's when i knew i found my best friend" rowan teased and playfully punched tobin. sabrina yawned and cuddled into rowan a little bit more. "tired?" rowan whispered into her ear. "a little bit but we can stay up if you want" sabrina said quietly her eyes still closed. "come on i got you" rowan said as she picked her up bridal style and headed out to take sabrina to her room. "thank you guys for everything" rowan said. everyone smiled and said goodnight to her as the two headed up. sabrina stirred softly in rowans arms as she tried to quietly open the door. rowan laid sabrina down lightly on the bed. "wait. lay with me." sabrina said before rowan could leave. "thank you for coming down. i'm sorry you had to miss your prom" rowan told her. sabrina sat up and looked rowan into her eyes. "ro. i didn't want to go to prom or parties or anything. you have quickly became the most important person in my life and i don't want to do anything without you by my side" sabrina told her genuinely. "you're the most important person to me too" rowan said. sabrina laid back down and rested her head on rowans shoulder. "you know this is gonna end right?" rowan mumbled. "yeah i know" sabrina whispered back. "honestly sab. i don't know what i'm gonna do with out you." rowan admitted. "i want you to go off and go to NYU and get your degree and start you're company and live your best life but" rowan stopped and looked down at the girl. "you're the only thing that's been keeping me together." rowan said. "you're doing better. i can tell." sabrina said. "can you see her again?" sabrina asked quietly. she was refrencing to the girl rowan once was. the one who just wanted to play soccer and be the best she can be. the happy girl. "yeah i can see her" rowan replied. "i've always saw her. and now you're going to go off and win that gold" sabrina said with a smile. "but what about the future?" rowan asked. "can we just be ro and sab tonight? no worries just us?" sabrina asked. rowan nodded. "get up" sabrina said. "why?" rowan asked. "go chanhe into regular clothes actually never mind let's do this" sabrina said getting up and slipping back on her heels. "sab it's 2 am" rowan said. "come on ro" sabrina said dragging the girl out of the hotel room. they ran down the halls and into the elevator. "what are we doing?" rowan asked laughing. "we are going to be teenagers" sabrina said with a bright grin that was contagious. they ran out of the hotel and into the night. they got ice cream and walked all over LA. they went in and out of stores trying on ridiculous things and laughing their asses off not worrying that rowan had recovery in the morning or sabrinas flight later that day. they were two teenagers. even better. they were ro and sabrina

the tournament ended shortly after and their next game would be in london. "hey champ! congrats on the win" sabrina said once there facetime connected. "heyyy thank you"'rowan said. "how does it feel to literally be off to london in such a short period of time?" sabrina asked. "awesome. and i owe it all to you"
