I stared blankly at the Radio Demon. No one had read my story yet. I wasn't ready for them to. It still needed to be edited and rewritten at least one more time.

"Um, why?" I asked, barely able to formulate the words.

"I'm merely curious." He replied with a shrug, "It was quite entertaining. Tell me, what exactly is your process?"

Shutting the door, I replied, "I write when my neighbors aren't screaming bloody murder upstairs."

I pointed to the ceiling for emphasis with my free hand. Alastor looked up and cocked his head to the side, lost in thought. That look made me worry. Whatever the Radio Demon was thinking up, it couldn't possibly be good for me.

"I have a study I rarely use." He mused out loud, "You're more than welcome to use it. It will be quiet and no one will disturb you."

Said the Spider to the Fly,  I thought sarcastically as I took a sip from my coffee. I was hungover, not stupid. I had heard tales of what this man had done. I would have to be suicidal to take him up on his offer.

Seeing me hesitate, Alastor shrugged nonchalantly, "The offer stands."

Then he placed a card on top of my coffee mug in my hand and showed himself out the door.
