sure enough, after alex had gotten out of the shower and dressed, george was sitting on his bed.

alex didn't want to do this.

he shouldn't have uploaded the video, he should've just acted like everything was okay and he was fine.

but the problem was he had already done that.

alex reluctantly walked into his room and sat on his chair.

george stared.

sometimes he wished george would stop with the sunglasses and hat and everything.

ever since alex made a vlog and accidentally almost revealed george's face, george had taken no chances and started wearing his getup 24/7.

that made him feel worse.

"mate, how are you feeling?"

those 5 words were what alex had wanted to hear for a long time.

but now that he was hearing them, he wanted to be sick.

he couldn't tell george how he truly felt.

that would just make everything worse.

george noticed what he had said troubled the other.

"you don't have to tell me, i mean like, why did you make that video? are you really quitting?"

alex looked into the man's sunglasses.

"i just... i got a new job."

george sat up.

"really?"

"yeah."

"where at?"

fuck, why did he say that?

"uhhhhhh tesco," alex spoke, almost as if he didn't believe it himself.

which he didn't.

george laughed.

"come on mate, your taking the piss out me, just tell me the truth."

alex took a deep breath.

he couldn't do this.

before he knew it, he was crying.

"i'm sorry george, i lied i don't have a job."

george sat up from alex's bed and put a hand on his back.

"hey, mate, it's okay."

"we... we'll talk in the morning if you're up for it, okay?"

before alex could respond, george left the room.

alex spent the rest of the night in bed.

at first he went on instagram, but he soon left due to the fact his fans kept asking if it was true.

that's why he stayed off twitter.

when he tried to watch a youtube video, he kept getting texts from will, james, fraser, even niall asked him how he was doing.

he was too tired to call them or try to explain the situation.

hopefully, it would just figure itself out.

or george would tell them.
