You arrive at your newly appointed checkpoint without much trouble. As far as you are concerned the Native territory doesn't look much different from the rest of the jungle, everything is kind of green here too. The guide says it's not necessarily mandatory, but it's probably still best to hide the boats before leaving them here. He sends out the crew to go gather some plants to act as a cover and of course you also do your part, by finding Emily and immediately telling her that she needs to go and collect some leaves.
Twenty minutes and two giant boat-sized bushes later, everyone's ready to pick up their thing and move on. It's time to head into the thicket and you get to do the first ceremonial hack with a machete, effectively slicing the toquilla palm, blocking your path, in half. Finally, the fun part of the expedition has begun!
With most of the hard work done, you let someone else take the lead and instead fall back to join Emily in the middle of the group. You pluck a leftover leaf out of her messy hair and secretly place it on Salvador's head who is walking in front of you. Both you and Emily instantly break out into laughter as it sways on top of his head like a little antenna and all of you head deeper into the jungle.
