You decide to follow the direction the Indian child is pointing, maybe it is trying to lead you to something important that might help you find the hidden temple. Maybe it's not even actually a child but a benevolent forest spirit who has decided you are worthy of discovering the golden treasure of the Tokaitl or maybe, you have just been taking too much Xanax lately. Either way, you are going to go check out the bushes.
As you reach the edge of the trees, the child grabs your hand and starts dragging you deeper in. Before you even realize what is happening, you step into another clearing and unlike usually it's not empty.
Two young Indian looking men in flipflops, with big knives strapped to their waist, are lazily lounging in the clearing and joking with each other. They stop talking once they notice someone coming out the trees towards them and they turn to look. When they see you walking next to the child, one of them just looks you right in the eyes and smiles.
