S U M M A R Y.....
Fallon Orabela wanted nothing more than to get out of her town, to go to the Big Apple and find her birth family,wherever they were.
One thing kept her back. Kept her from running away to New York City. Her best friends. They needed her as much as she needed them, and she refused to abandon them. Especially in their time of need. John B's dad had disappeared, and it would be heartless of her to leave him high and dry. So, she stayed.
That didn't make her want to leave any less, though. To her, the town was still as boring as ever. Especially with the Kooks vs Pogues ordeal, which she found to be extremely annoying and pointless. But nevertheless, her friends participated in the hate for Kooks wholeheartedly.
Things shift after a hurricane when a mystery arises, and her friends rope her into a "high-stakes treasure hunt", as she liked to call it, she discovers that maybe her town isn't as boring as she thought.
