Day 15: I'm grateful for hiking. Just enjoying the scenery that nature has to offer while getting some quiet reflection time—either by yourself or with others—is something amazing and splendid. Hikes can be long, yes, but they definitely are very rewarding when it comes to the exercise you get in, the scenery to and at the destination you're hiking towards, and the peaceful journey along the way. I'll always love that.
My most recent long-duration hike was in North Carolina (a VERY mountainous state in the U.S.). On the way to the top, I got to talk and spend good time with my sister, we laughed and heaved in exhaustion together and it was nice having a moment with her. Once we reached the top, the view was beautiful! I'm super grateful for hiking, it's a place where moments are shared and beautiful landscapes are seen.
