??? PoV

"Oh wow, Nagisa senpai just got rejected pretty weirdly," Hikaru cringed as we watched her walk away.

"Yeah, poor girl," I sighed before looking around, "Hey, wait-- where did Haruhi go?"

"She's down there," Kyoya pointed nonchalantly to where Haruhi was approaching that devil of a human.

"No my princess!" I cried out, "He's going to destroy my little girl! I must go save her!"

"No," Kyoya stopped me, "I think it best that she speaks with him."

"Huh? Why?" Honey senpai asked.

"Because there's not much on the kid and Haruhi has a way that gets people to open up to her," he replied, "let's just observe for now."

Your PoV

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Haruhi Fujioka," the kid in front of me replied, "I'm a first year."

"I see," I nodded. Are they a girl? Form isn't too masculine... Face is really feminine, but I guess it could also be a really cute boy? Small in height too...

"I couldn't help but notice that you look kind of detached to the world," Haruhi told me, "I wanted to say that if you need someone to talk to or even just for someone to listen to you... Then I'd happily speak with you."

How generous.

"That's nice. But I don't need to talk to some stranger about my life," I replied standing up. They smiled at me. Too cute. This dude is definitely a chick.

"I see," she nodded, "well if you reconsider. I'm in music room three most of the time or in my class 1-A."

I nodded before bowing.

"It was nice to meet you Miss Fujioka," I told her, "please excuse me."

"Miss..." I heard her repeat as I walked in the direction of my classroom.

I couldn't help but think about her offer for the rest of the day, even at home I was thinking until the next day, I got in and found myself outside of class 1-A rather than 2-A. Did I take a wrong turn? Or did my mind finally lose it?

"Hello, senpai," someone greeted me, I nodded to them, "is there something you need?"

"Is Haruhi Fujioka in here?" I asked, the person turned.

"Fujioka, someone at the door to see you," they called before walking away, moments later, the brunette was stood in front of me.

"Hello, l/n senpai," she greeted me.

"Please, just call me y/n," I sighed, "I came to take your offer."

"My offer?" she asked, I nodded.

"Friday, after school... Do you...mind letting me talk?" I asked, "I only want you to listen... Nothing more than that."

"Of course," she smiled, "where shall we meet?"

"I'll come here after classes are finished," I replied, "and... I'll treat you to dinner."

"T-thats not necessary," she shook her head.

"It is. Consider it payment for the long rant you're going to be listening to," I told her before turning around, "don't make any other plans."

"Alright," I heard her reply before she went back inside the class."

Everything after that smoothly moved. Me and Nagisa continued as if she hadn't confessed, or at least it felt like that.

Friday rolled around quickly and I went to get Haruhi from her class but came face to face with the host club block.

"Excuse me. I need Haruhi," I sighed.

"You're not taking my little girl on a date!" the blonde from my class I believe is called Tamaki shouted.

"A date?" I repeated, "this isn't a date. Unfortunately for you, Haruhi isn't my type. Now move before I make you."

They moved and Haruhi walked over.

"I heard you're the honour student," I started as we walked out school together, "meaning you're from the normal people. I found a place to eat, it's not fancy, just a casual stir fry place. Does that sound good?"

"Yeah," Haruhi nodded.

"OK. Let's get the train then," I told her, "we shouldn't have any problems, I haven't been in the public eye for a while so they should've forgotten me by now. It'll be smooth sailing from here."

°🎸°

This is not smooth sailing.

"Look here!"

"It's Leo from Zodiac!"

"Hey hey! Why did you disband?!"

"Can I shake your hand?!"

"Let me take a photo with you!"

Haruhi looked between me and the giant crowd of girls surrounding me uncomfortably. You and me both, sister. Damn. I hate this. How can they still remember me, I haven't been doing music for four months now! Were we really that popular.

"Sorry about this, Haruhi," I sighed before grabbing her wrist, "run!"

I dragged her off the train as soon as the doors opened and through the shopping section of the train station, slipping into a clothes store and losing the crowd.

"Damn," I let out a sigh, "I hate that. I'm sorry I got you in that mess, I didn't expect people to still recognise me."

"It's fine," she sighed before looking around, "wait here a moment."

I did as I was told and watched her walk away, she came about a few minutes later and forced a cap on my head and a pair of sunglasses over my eyes.

"There we go," she nodded, "they shouldn't recognise you so easily now. Let's go."

"T-thanks," I nodded as she pulled me off the floor and we began walking around.

We walked through the crowds of crazy fan girls and the occasional fan boy and eventually made it to the stir fry restaurant. It was a traditional restaurant made out of wood that was pretty empty but still full enough that it would be hard for others to over hear what I'm about to say to Haruhi...
