I watched the sun rise on this beautiful day in the Digital World, because I knew that today would finally be the day that MetalGreymon would be released from his shackles.
However, during his time as a slave to Ken, the Digimon Emperor, he has terrorized so many digimon and nearby towns. All the while, me and my friends kept a close eye on MetalGreymon, sending our rebellion digimon tips to take back to the digidestined. They knew to keep our identities a secret of course.
"You do realize that Davis may not accept the Digiegg of Friendship, right?" One of my friends asked. I turned around and saw the two of them standing behind me, their hoods off their heads for the first time in weeks.
"I know Davis may not believe he has friends, but all of us do know that he really cares for them. It will accept him." I said confidently. But, deep down I had my doubts. Davis was true to his friends, but it's that kindness and loyalty he has towards his friends that makes him hesitant.
I stood up from the ledge near the wall where the crest of Friendship was carved and turned towards my friends.
"You two should go and see what you can find on Ken's hideout. I'll stay here and watch over the Digidestined when they arrive." The two nodded, pulling their hoods over their heads and disappearing to find out what we needed.
I turned back around and watched the nearby train tracks, waiting for the digidestined to arrive and for Davis to claim what is his.

I sat in one of the train cars huddled in the corner as we rode off to find MetalGreymon.
"Look, it's Tentomon." Kari shouted. We all looked up and saw the digimon flying down towards us.
"All aboard!" Tentomon said as he landed, "I just love riding trains. Where's the dining car?"
"I got an email from Izzy!" Cody said.
"Has he found him yet?" Kimiko asked.
"He says that he got a tip from the rebel digimon. They say that Ken and MetalGreymon were seen south of here."
"We're on the right track." Matt said.
"Technically, Matt, we're on the only track." Tentomon pointed out. I just looked down not caring about Tentomon's witty comeback joke.
"All right, Digidestined, this time we'll get Agumon back for sure." Tai said determinedly.
"Yeah!" Matt said just as determined, "There's no way Ken can stop all of us. But, uh, just in case. Tentomon, I need your help."
"Now? I was just gonna have my shell waxed." Tentomon complained.
"I want you to search for Garurumon."
Tentomon quickly flew off, but I was confused about this plan.
"What? Hold on a minute." I said standing in the cart, "Are you saying that you're planning on us fighting MetalGreymon?"
"Yeah." Tai said.
"With all of us together, I think we stand a chance. There are just some things that have to be done." Matt reasoned, "Am I right, Tai?"
"Yeah." Tai agreed.
I looked down at my hand worried about fighting Agumon, a friend.
"I'm not so sure, guys." I said nervous and shaking a little, "What makes you think we'll be able to defeat Ken and MetalGreymon?"
"What makes you think we can't?" Tk asked behind me.
"Who asked you?" I asked angrily.
"I'm speaking from experience. We have to fight, because if we don't, we'll never be able to save Agumon. What are you so afraid of, Davis?"
