Author's Note: Two chapters in one week? WHHAATTTT haha. Sorry anyways so this chapter is a little special. The Title, Tal Como Eres, translates to "The Way You Are". This chapter looks into the relationship between the Reader and Sam. I linked the song Tal Como Eres by Gerardo Ortiz and his brother, Kevin Ortiz. If you'd like to give it a listen, it starts at 43 seconds.  I also linked the lyrics and the translation to it. I hope you enjoy this chapter :)

"Please don't let her find me," (Name) whispered.

"Who (Name)?" Edward asked as he held her, stroking her head in a reassuring manner.

"I don't want to let her come into my life," (Name) murmured this statement several times, almost as if her soul had been broken.

"I'm taking you home," Edward stated as he picked her up and made his way back to his car parked outside.

Maybe Sam would be able to help her.

[~*~]

A tired Sam paced relentlessly within the living room as a sliver of hope crossed his mind that his sister may come through the living room door at that moment. He regretted ever hurting his sister by not telling her what happened; but still, all he wanted was the best for his sister. He was the only blood family she had left. Her mother's grandparents were already deceased by the time (Name) was born. A soft sigh caused him to stop pacing and turned towards the hallway where a sleepy Emily stood. "Can't sleep?" Emily questioned her beloved.

"No," Sam smiled grimly. "I fucked up Em. I'm supposed to be her protector; her older brother, but this is my fault. I'm the reason she ran away."

"Sam," Emily murmured as she gently pulled Sam into an embrace. "You cannot keep blaming yourself. You were just trying to be a brother. Honestly Jacob's at fault, but regardless of who's at fault doesn't matter. What matters is that (Name) comes back home safe and sound."

Sam gently cupped Emily's face with his large hands and placed a kiss on her forehead. "What would I do without you?"

Emily smiled softly, "Probably go insane. Now, how about you get some rest and I take over in keeping an eye out if she's comes home?"

"Are you sure?" Sam asked hesitantly.

Emily nodded before gently pushing him towards the hallway. "Rest," she commanded, an order Sam knew he had to follow.
