Morning: Aang

I was up before the sun even rises. I was so excited about going home back to the Southern Air Temple! I can't wait to see Gyatso and the other airbenders! The sun was shining over the lake we camped last night. The water looked like shimmering glitter under the sunlight as I was on Appa fixing his reigns while he was eating his grassy breakfast. Sokka was still in his sleeping bag sleeping by the dead campfire. Tsukkio was by the water with her hands clasped over the other as her eyes were closed. Then Tsukkio went away from the sea, going to her empty sleeping bag rolling it up. Lastly, Katara was also on Appa, but the passenger end as she was placing the supplies correctly on Appa's saddle.

"Wait till you see it, Katara and Tsukkio!" I smiled tighten the reigns around Appa's horns. "The Air Temple is one of the most beautiful places in the world!!"

"Aang, I know you're excited, but it's been a hundred years since you've been home," Katara said cautiously as she stared at me with a sad look.

"I agree with Katara, a hundred years of moon and sun cycles has cast over the Air Temple," Tsukkio chimed, holding her sleeping bag in her arms.

"That's why I'm so excited!" I cheered, still smiling.

"What Tsukkio is right because a lot can change in all that time," Katara explained to me, still sounding cautious.

"I know, but I need to see it for myself!"

I jumped down from Appa's driving reigns as I landed next to the sleeping Sokka. Sokka was snoring loudly, but he was peaceful as he was sleeping. Tsukkio went to grab Katara's rolled sleeping bag, but she stopped to look at Sokka. Tsukkio shook her head with the face of disappointment. She rolled her eyes and walked back towards Katara and Appa.

"Wake up, Sokka! Air Temple, here we come!" I said to get Sokka to wake up.

Sokka woke up as he opened one of his eyes. The right eye that was opened squint at Sokka, and I used his free hand that wasn't in the sleeping bag to cover the sun's glare from his eye.

"Sleep now ...... Temple later," Sokka turned over in his sleeping bag facing the other direction away from me and the sun.

There was a tap on my shoulder, and I turned to see Tsukkio. She was smirking, and she nudged my arm, pointing to the ground. I glanced at the ground as I noticed the unused campfire twig placed by Sokka's sleeping bag. Tsukkio snickered as she went back to Appa and Katara while I had an idea on how to wake up Sokka. I picked the twig, placing it in my hand and running the blunt pointy end of the twig on Sokka's sleeping bag. I moved the twig up and down in a zig-zag motion on top of the pack.

"SOKKA!! WAKE UP!!" I yelled in a pretending panic voice. "THERE'S A PRICKLE SNAKE IN YOUR SLEEPING BAG!!"

"AHHHH!! GET IT OFF!!" Sokka shouted, startled hopping around in his sleeping bag, but he won't get out of it. "GET IT OFF!!! AHHHH!"

Sokka was still hopping around in his sleeping bag until he hit face first in the dirt. Katara and Tsukkio laughed as I was laughing too. Sokka quickly glared up at Tsukkio, Katara, and I still inside the sleeping bag.

"Great, you're awake!" I walked past Sokka, and air jumped on Appa, getting to the driver's seat. "Let's go!"

Sokka grumbled, finally getting out of the sleeping bag. Sokka rolled his pack, still muttering soon, walking up the tail of Appa and settling in the saddle with Tsukkio.
