It has been three days and Advith can't connect to Vidhushi, no matter how many times he tried. He called her on her phone, texted her numerous times and even visited the laboratory to meet her. All in order to apologise for his unacceptable behaviour. All he received was no reply to his messages, no answering of his calls and her empty cabin.

He knew that it was wrong of him to do something like that without her permission. But how could he explain it to her that he was out of his senses when he did that. He didn't think of the consequences. She was looking so beautiful and adorable that he couldn't stop himself when he stepped forward to kiss her. It was all so new to him. He had never felt this urge so strong.

He wanted to tell her all that. Explain himself. Express his feelings to her.

But she was nowhere to be found. He thought of going to her home directly to meet her. But, again, he didn't want her to see him as a stalker and hate him any further. He desperately wanted to know what's going on in her mind. What was she thinking about him?

Above all, he regretted letting her run away that night. He should have stopped her and apologised the same day.

But he thought of giving her some time as well as himself to clear up all the emotions first.

He looked at his wristwatch. It was 9 pm. He just came to his apartment from his headquarter. As he laid down after removing his shoes lazily, he thought of calling her again.

Never in his life did he think that he would be so desperate...for a girl. But, it was not in his control. His mind moved back to her every time...especially in the past three days as he wasn't able to talk to her.

Her phone rang. And rang. But, as usual, she didn't pick it up. Irritated, he threw his phone gently away from him.

On the other hand, Vidhushi looked at her phone with Advith's name flashing on it. It must be the twentieth time that he had called and she still had not mustered up the courage to accept his call or even text him.

She didn't know what to tell him...how to react. The situation made her confused about her own feelings. What was she up to? She wondered.

She had taken three days off from the laboratory just to hide away from him. She lied to her mother about being unwell but her mother had anticipated her behaviour very well. She just didn't force Vidhushi to tell her the truth.

The Dushehra festival holidays that followed her three days of voluntary leave gave her the best chance to escape Advith from approaching her or recalling the past events. She was thankful for the five days festival break. Now, she could hide in the confinement of her home.

Every time she recalled that night when he kissed her, she would shudder in a weird kind of emotion. Anxiety, excitement, fear, joy.....she didn't even know exactly what she felt over the kiss. But, she definitely hated herself to be so stupid as to run away from the scene without looking back once. She could hear Advith calling her from behind as she ran, but she didn't stop or look back. She just escaped...because she didn't know what to do!

Had it been some other man, attempting to kiss her without her permission, she would have slapped him hard. But, this was Advith! And no matter what, she couldn't bring herself to face him after that.

She was a strong girl...never bowing down to anyone. She had learnt that and she practised it. But, with Advith, she submitted subconsciously because he never tried to dominate her. Whenever they met, he had always been sweet and gentle...something she had never witnessed. He was a new kind of person for her. Sweet, gentle, funny, caring and....normal...the kind of normal that she liked.
