CHAPTER 2

Your POV

"Hello, is Papyrus on the phone? "

"NYES AND THIS IS?"

"Toriel. Can you help me with something dear?"

"QUEEN TORIEL, OF COURSE, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU, YOUR HIGHNESS."

"Papyrus dear, how many times have I told you not to call me Queen Toriel, Toriel is just fine. Well, there is a human girl, her name is (y/n), she's 24, about your brother's age and as there is no place for her to stay, so I was wondering if she could stay with you guys?"

"OF COURSE, SHE COULD STAY WITH US. I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE HUMAN. "

"Thanks, Papyrus, but what about Sans, is he okay with it."

"MY BROTHER WOULD BE FINE WITH IT, PLUS I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAVE COME UP WITH A GENIUS PLAN. NYEHEHEHEH!" He sounds excited, I wonder how he looks like. And his brother Sans, what is he going through though. Well, I will know sooner or later.

"Okay, thank you so much Papyrus."

"YOUR WELCOME, YOUR HIGHNESS, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS AM HAPPY TO HELP YOU ANY TIME." After that, the call ended. Toriel sighed and smiled. She gave you a slice of butterscotch cinnamon pie. You never tried this flavor before, but why not. Plus, you were super hungry, 'because you didn't know how long you were unconscious. You took a bite and already feel like it's the best pie you ever had. You finished your piece and actually wanted more but you were shy to ask. Toriel realized how hungry you were and gave you another piece. You looked at her and gave her a bright smile. There was a warm feeling in your chest, you felt at home. You never had this feeling before since when you're five you had busy parents, they were both scientists, they have been working on a way to free the monsters from the underground, because of that they barely spent time with you. One day, they have found a solution and you thought that they could finally spend time with you but you were wrong. You saw your parents being killed right in front of you, you remembered the person that shot them said something like "Those horrible creatures were never meant to live with humans in the first place." You didn't cry, you just looked at them blankly, you were so young that, everything that happened was very hard for you to understand, you thought your parents were cursed to stay in eternal sleep, like the sleeping beauty. You were raised by your grandmother, and when you grew older and older, you understand what happened back then and also realized that life isn't just a fairy tale, for you to enjoy every day, meet with the love of your life, get married and lived happily ever after. There was no happy ending, you work so hard knowing you would die one day tragically or peacefully.

When you were 15, your grandmother was really sick and wasn't able to go to work and earn money to raise you. So, you had to go to work every day after school, just to earn money for the both of you. Of course, you saved money for college. At the age of 20, you lost your grandmother, and you were not able to afford the house so you sold it and stayed at a dorm in your college, Mount Ebott College. You had support from your friends, of course, you trusted them but little did you know that they took advantage of you because of your KINDNESS, and they betrayed you, that's how you end up in the underground.

You realize you were tearing up so you tried to hide your tears. Frisk and Toriel noticed and asked "Are you okay, my child? Looks like you have something going on in your mind, care to share?" You looked at her, shook your head, and smiled while wiping the tears off your face. You felt more relieved at the fact that you don't have to see them anymore. Plus, you get to meet a lot of nice people, like Frisk, Toriel, Asgore and the ones you're going to meet like Sans and Papyrus you felt like you don't want to leave this place! Falling into the underground was like a whole new start for you. Let go of the past and aim for a brighter future. You told yourself.

"It's fine, Mrs. Toriel. Thank you so much! "you stood up and hugged her, she was surprised but hugged back. You loved this feeling; you didn't want to let go but you had to. "Toriel would be just fine, my child. "Okay, goat mum." Toriel blushed then she grinned "Goat mum, huh? That sounds fine to me. "Both of you laughed, and the atmosphere was filled with joy.
